Ah so its your need to prove your outlook on life?
Enron,

I don't know just how familiar you are with Italian football culture and Italian football culture in general. What I've noticed is that they tend to victimise themselves and others. So quite frankly, yes, people DO tell me to mourn the guy. Mediaset tells me so, RAI tells me so and the fucking bartender tells me so. But I refuse to say that this guy was a victim. He was a moron and did something that the Lega Calcio should have prevented from happening a long time ago.

The Lega should have prevented that he ran into the bus? Don't get it. Anyway, i get what Seven wants to say, and he's not completely wrong. I mean it's someone who, through bad luck and fatality, died because he behaved like an idiot... I think that it was wrong to cancel the game and that's it. Let's quit this talk. Nobody deserves to die (at least not that dude, probably) and it was a tragedy... but it's not that the world has lost the future peace-nobel-attendant. He probably was no better than all the other hooligans. Of course that's no excuse, he remains a human being. IMO Seven should stop calling him names, cause everybody is free to think what he wants, and you can't really insult people only because they say "RIP". I mean it's becoming a habit really saying "RIP", and it's been stressed out that much, that it lost all it's meaning for me, but still...
Let's quit that talk. It's no use whatsoever talking about some random dude, whatever happened to him...

Easiest ways to prevent things like this happening in the future is to make it compulsory for these service stations to have a security guard outside so he can stop confrontations, and maybe on matchdays they increase the number of guards.
It might not solve everything but they could not be blamed of not trying

This whole discussion is ridiculously lame. When someone talks about "showing respect", they don't mean honouring the person who died, they mean showing respect to the situation that someone has died. Pretty simple to understand, unless you're looking for validation of your own intellect...

Are you nuts? You want a cop on every street corner just in case a fight breaks out? How about a garbage man in case someone throws a piece of trash away?

That's the dumbest suggestion I've ever heard.

When is it gonna be time for the morons to grow the fuck up already?

To pull out a Seinfeld reference, I think we should have cops be garbage men while they're not chasing robbers. Give them a trash bag and spoke. It will be beneficial to every community in general.

You don't have to through a RIP or anything. Same as you don't have to talk shit about some dead Parma fan. Thats not dumb or anything. Let's be honest here and stop pretending to be "realists" and admit you guys were just being assholes. Because we all know had it been a Juve fan the crocodile tears would have been flowing.
Okay, fine.

RIP the dumbass Matteo who decided to hang around with hooligans. God, make him sleep in peace.

It's as if people think this thread is one big Matteo funeral and Andries and I are pissing on his casket. There are Matteo's parents and friends crying over there by the minister.

Let's open a new thread for the match against Parma when the time comes.

Padlocked, sealed, flushed and never to be open again.
