Starting to focus on Palermo

After a triumphant weekend for Juventus' internationals (Italy qualified after winning in Scotland, Grygera scored with the Czech Republic, France qualified without playing, Portugal almost qualified and Italy's Under 21 also won) and before the last European qualifiers to be played between Tuesday and Wednesday, Juve are starting to focus on their next fixture.

When the League comes back, Ranieri's team will play the Sunday evening match. Stefano Colantuono's Palermo will be the guests in Turin. The Olimpico Stadium will be one of few grounds in Italy that will have fans of both teams on the stands. With the new rulings applied after last week's tragic events, the Sicilian supporters will still be able to follow the team away from home.

Getting back to the game itself, Manager Ranieri will only have a complete squad from Thursday, to begin preparing for it. Awaiting the internationals' return, the rest of the squad will begin training again on Tuesday afternoon.

Well another time to say thank God, Italy did it again another late winner.
Naxt test for Juventus returnees: beat the shit out of Palermo, asking me? it's far fetched. we cant do it, we don't have what it takes, right now our fitness level is low, knowing Ranieri, he used to play exciting football but al of a sudden since he got to Juventus he seems to have lost that touch, Personaly I'd like to see us play fantastic and lose, ut rather we try to play good (cant do it) and we still lose. It's annoying, we haven't perfected anything yet and we espect results...God help us, the refrees are killing us as well, but I think if we play good and they rob us, after a while the world will see it and they will worry for us and then later they start to love us again. Right now we're paying for our crimes, it's sad to know but that's the way it is. Whatever formation he chooses to play on sunday, he should just let the younger players play. Bring in experience when its needed. Hopefully with the type of determination that I saw against Roma and Fiorentina, we'll get something good from this match. All I want is a top 4 finish. We go to the CL and try to get past the group stages. We have to get back into reckoning fast but lets do it steadily. I know we'll get there b4 2010. I love Juve with all of my heart. I can't stand to see her suffer this way, but if this is what we have to pull through to get back to the top, then fight is what we'll do, on the field of play, elegantly, Juventus style.
I'll be modest...2-1 we win against Palermo.

I see, I think Iaquinta should be able to handle two games in one week anyhow.

As far as Palla's place in the team goes.. Nedved, Marchionni or even DP do not offer us any less on the left.

Yeah, lets just hope none of them returning with an injury. However, since Italy qualified Mauro should be back to Turin. He's not needed anymore and It's not worthy playing someone who has just returned from an injury.

I just bumped into this post and I must reply to this (sorry for going offtopic).

Ibrahimovic never refused to play for Bosnian NT, as a matter of fact he firstly offered himself to our foodball federation (it was his father wish) but our "masterminds" in football federation told him that we already have excellent attackers so he gonna need to wait and maybe play for U21, and Ibra ofcourse didn't wanted to play for U21 and our amateur coaches so he decided, like every normal person would, to play for Sweden.

And I would like to know in what Bosnia you do live cuz in Bosnia where I live noone considers him traitor because he is playing for Sweden NT. I consider him traitor cuz he left us for out bitter rivals Inter but not for playing for Sweden NT.

Again sorry for going off topic....

I would rather put Palla instead of Pavel even that would be too offensive lineup, And how good Zebina is on the left, I know it's hard to be worse than Molinaro but still...

I remember Zebina playing on the left once....He wasn't bad at all. I believe he can do well in that position. Considering that he got his punishment and wants to prove everyone wrong.

Molinaro should rest his ass ATM.
