That's simply not true. I read La Gazzetta every single day and they are nothing but respectful towards Juventus. Even during Calciopoli they didn't blast us. Not nearly as hard as you would expect a so called Interista paper to blast us anyway. So the whole fantasy about La Gazzetta being an anti-Juve paper is just bullshit.
The sad truth is that it is simply not a pro-Juve paper. And for some fans that's apparently a bitter pill to swallow.
Edy Reja’s Napoli will not play for a draw in Turin, as they have beaten Juventus before this season and plan to do so again.
“Juve are a great squad, but we are going to fight for the full result right to the end. There will be no barricades. We are playing football,” said the Coach.
This attacking approach is despite the injury that has ruled Marcelo Zalayeta out for the rest of the season as well as bans to Manuele Blasi and Daniele Mannini.
“The Bianconeri also have players missing, but it’s all relative when they have people like Pavel Nedved, Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet in the line-up.
“Juventus have these champions, but above all the mentality of a giant. They are organised and do battle. This is what Napoli will need, too.”
The last time these two sides met there was an incredible amount of controversy over two dubious penalties that allowed Napoli to win 3-1 at the San Paolo.
“After that extraordinary match, I hope we’ll have another magic night on our travels. Football is strange and anything can happen.”
The Azzurri have not won here since an epic 5-3 result on November 20, 1988, one of only six victories in 67 attempts.
Agree! The gazzetta is fine, i read it every day!
Although, i have to say that with italian media, you have to be careful... Our friend Berlusconi controls like EVERYTHING. Of course gazzetta aso do not belong to him, but i once was told how berlusconi has influence on nearly EVERY media in italy. but enough conspiracy; the gazzetta is ok, if you want to read a more or less objective newspaper. Of course, if you want to be happy and read only "good" things (notice the "" ) then go ahead and buy a tuttosport... i bought it some times, but honestly, WHO can believe that?
