so pato and nesta are definetly out for this one?
Yes.

Not always, sometimes I am spot on but this prediction is coming from deep inside. Against Inter I felt we will win because the game actually meant something regardless of the CL spot or the team objectives, it was to prove a point. This game is somehow meaningless, it is a legendary game that used to be a title showdown but now it is nothing more than a fight for a 3rd or 4th place. Milan are behind us and the pressure is on us, they are coming to Torino to take the three points where we are enjoying a not so comfortable lead (the Parma game is really a shitty thing as our players are still believing that we have a game in hand and we will win it) that can see us drop to fifth place in an eye blink.

I expect red cards tonight, Sissoko or Chiellini namely. I expect a classical Legtrottaglie and a usual Grygera (not that one "fantastic" game).

I expect holes in the defence and the usual cluelessness in attack.

If we don't start the trident and take the game to Milan we will most probably see the scoreline I predicted. I see Seedorf ripping us a new one.
Ok fair enough.I`m not so sure about losing this one but I just can`t see us winning.

If we lose this one and lets say Roma and Inter win their games, table will look like this

Inter 75
Roma 71
Juventus 58
Fiorentina 56
Milan 55

It will be hard for us to secure CL spot.I wish we haven`t postponed that match against Parma though.

And like you said Seedorf will be pain but I`m also afraid of Kaka.Their only two players that can make difference in this match IMO.

Seedorf may lift his game against us, but he's probably Milan's worst player lately.
He's not running at all, he's just walking on the pitch and ever since the Arsenal match you can hear the wistles at San Siro whenever he'll touch the ball.
Milan fans assume that the problem is of physical nature and Seedorf is overplayed, which is true i believe.
All the defenders had an easy job against him in last 2 months so lets hope that his form won't change over night.

Pirlo was also awful but against Cagliari he finally played a very solid match.

Introduce Iaquinta after 60-70 min in the game when their aging defense will be surely tired and rip them two new ones. :D
I agree. we definately need to outplay the fact that they are running short of defenders. I kind of could imagine starting iaquinta straight away. Its just a feeling but i would start iaquinta and then, depending how things are going, maybe put in trez in a 4-3-3

Agree wholeheartedly. Seedorf had some awesome games in the past but lately, he made wrong passes, bad runs, lost the ball, ... but i do think too, that it's due to his age and to him being overplayed. But then again, a player like seedorf will get that extra-boost when facing juve... so we'll have to look well after him.
Pirlo's performance was also under average lately (just as pretty much the whole milan-team).
I'm glad pato probably won't be there... he can rip wholes in our defense and thinking of pato against molinaro, i'd be a little worried.

In the end... i'm really looking forward to this game. I think we're a little in advantage but in such prestigious matches, recent fitness plays a little role. Everyone will be very motivated, and that's why i think it will be a very close game... A draw would not be impossible i fear...

You are expecting too much i guess. Don't forget,

    1. We are playing at home
    2. Milan defence tonight is old and hardly ever played together
    3. Juve is in form
    4. Milan is inconsitent.
    5. The result will be either a dram or Juve wins.

So you don't see us losing but not sure we will win, I am guessing you are expecting a draw which makes us at 59 points. I can see Fiorentina winning their game against Inter and also resting at 59 points. And the draw gives Milan a point at 56 points. Still we are in big danger for the CL spot and the game against Parma is going to haunt us mostly tonight.

    1. Home or away does not make a real difference in such a game, both teams have played against each other so many times that it doesn't really matter.
    2. Milan will play their game from the midfield, their defence will not really do much.
    3. Juve never had a form this season.
    4. So is Juve
    5. I am tipping a drama.

Jack, with a draw we'll actually keep the 6 pts difference between us and Milan and we'll still have one game in hand.

Current standings are like this :
    3. Juve 58
    4. Fiorentina 56
    5. Milan 52
    6. Sampdoria 52
    7. Udinese 51

This is exactly why I see us losing this game, Milan cannot afford to lose a single point in this game in particular.

Yes I`m expecting a tough draw tonight but I think Inter is going to win against Viola since next 5 matches for them are easy and they would be able to hold 4th position.

Iaquinta should start in a trident.

Not related to this match, but to our match next weekend :
On Wednesday we play Parma and we know that we usually suck when we play 3 matches in 7/8 days.
The match we have 4 days after Parma is Atalanta-Juve. Atalanta secured their serie A stay and they have no chances for UEFA. They'll play in relaxed mood but it doesn't mean that we'll easily win.

The good news is that their best 2 players, their top scorer and second top scorer and their most creative players will be out for 2 matches.
Doni got a 2 match suspension and he'll miss Napoli and Juve while Langella was injured yesterday and he's out for at least 2 weeks.

I think Inter will draw or beat Fiorentina and that will actually give us some breathing space . Inter won't lose against Fiorentina , they can't afford to .

The Juve game against Milan has a lot at stake . Both teams are under a lot of pressure , especially Milan as they can't afford another mistake if they want to have any chances of qualifying to the C.L .

I think throughout this season , we've been a better team than Milan overall but in a game like this , that means fuck all . Like I said before , the key to this game lies in the midfield of both teams . If Momo can put in another brilliant game and destroy Milan's midfield , then I think we should be able to win it as their defense doesn't look too strong with Nesta and Oddo out .

As a team , Milan haven't been too impressive and it really has been up to Kaka to decide whether Milan win it or not . When Kaka plays well , their whole team plays well . We look like we're in better shape heading in to this one and Juve definetely have it in them to beat Milan but Milan still has class players that can make the difference at any point in the game .

It's going to be one of those game where the end result is determined by a split second of individual brillliance .
