I know you read his posts because you can't stand him. As petty as it sounds, you read them and then go berserk.
Actually there are many times where I don't read his posts, like the one after Juventus games or like the ones he posted in Dp thread the other day... because you can just notice that he never even touched a ball in his life.

I really laughed out loud when i read what he said about Genoa playing offensive football.

The funny thing is that he didn't had/know what to reply, so he digged that post of mine from the Dp thread where i really ignored his posts.

but yea i agree, it's funny

But they do.
They do not posses the quality to attack all the time, but they are far from most of the minows who play catenaccio for 90 minutes. Genoa and Lazio are the only teams who tried to play attack against Milan this year and didn't play 10 men defense (probably that is why they lost).
Gasperini is always playing with 3 attackers, be it Sculli-Borriello-Di Vaio or Papa Waigo-Borriello-Di Vaio or Leon-Borriello-Sculli. In 2 matches he even played with 4 attackers at certain period of the match.
4-3-3 is almost never defensive.
You probably caught the derby against Sampdoria where both teams played nothing and that's why you were surprised by Mark's comment.

So if a team plays with 3attackers means they're an offensive team?

Against Cagliari was their only good game, were also they didn't play THAT offensive football.

They were pretty lucky against Udinese, Sampdoria and Napoli.... picking also a draw in from these two matches.

Their football is similar to their "B" football last year, nothing changed. But there's no offensive football in their books, not at all.

They were owned by Napoli, Sampdoria, Milan, Livorno(last position) etc...

Hmmm, i think we didn't understand eachother.
They don't play ultra defensive football, even against the best teams, which is unusual for teams like Genoa, Catania, Livorno or Reggina. These teams usually put 10 men behind and defend, waiting to hit the opponent with one of their rare counters. But Genoa isn't playing like that.
Looks like you watched Genoa more than i did, so i have to say i might be wrong. I watched them only against Milan and Sampdoria, while i've seen only highlights of the other matches. But i still noticed that they are not the usual serie A minows.
They have an offensive concept (they've had it in serie B also. There were usually 3 or more goals whenever Genoa played in serie B) and their 4-3-3 is an attacking one, with only 1 DM in the midfield (Paro in their case). But you won't see them attacking all the time because they don't have enough quality to hold the possesion. Maybe this is why you don't see them as an offensive team.

They started the season very slow but now, when the team is more or less gelled, they started scoring a lot, which was a result of the kind of football they play.

I hope they'll play this way against us, like they played against Milan, Udinese or Napoli. We might have problems with their trio up-front, but they leave a lot of space in midfield and at the back and that's something we must take an advantage of.

Mission accomplished. :D

Like you had a good response. All you ever do is just post that yellow smilie and talk nonsense. Alen agrees with me. So, did he ever touch a ball? :howler: He explained you his point of view (which I agree with) and you said "fair enough" . If I told you the same thng, you would have posted a stupid smilie again and diss my football knowledge. And these things really make you look like an ass. I don´t think you are an ass though, I just think you are very childish.

In DP thread I am sure you have read my post. If you hadn´t, you would have ignored it and not respond at all. You just didn´t have a good response to write, so you tryed to look smart. And you failed.

Like I said before, I read you like a book. And it seems Seven does too.

i hope to have boumsong back...
I do too... so he's easier to showcase and sell in January. The ~3m euro he'd bring in and the 2.5m euro of wage off the books would allow more financial freedom in bringing in a world class replacement.

On topic, I'm looking forward to this game. I hope Ranieri gives Tiago a chance here though to quiet down all the "he's gone in January" talk. (Even if he is gone in January, broadcasting his displeasure won't help get value).
