I agree with what was happening during the Lippi era and how Darko, Di Vaio and fvcktard did not get to play. Lippi's bias was so clear and too bad these players were not given a chance to prove themselves.
But the point is, Capello should not do the same. The situation should not be looked at as revenge. I hope Del Piero's treatment at the Lippi era won't be repeated with Zlatan these days.

I don't think that's the case Jeeks. Capello is just treating DP on the same level of the other players and with such a long season and long bench (Especially in attack) I'm sure they will all have a lot of chances to prove themselves, then when the last months of the season come, Capello will play those who proved their worth.
Looking back at my post, I fail to see that I said Del Piero is the current problem. The current problem is Zlatan. Zlatan is given the time to play 90 minutes regarding his performance on the pitch. Same was with Del Piero during the Lippi era and here I feel with Don Bes and I am starting to feel the Del Piero lovers building hatred towards Zlatan. Not because del Piero himself, but because he should be the first substitute. And the substitute shoudl be included when needed. Examples of that need (injury of a playing player or underperformance of a playing player)
And I got really bored of the whining. Had we lost one would say, but it was the first game and we got the three points. What I meant in what I said is that Capello is definitely biased towards Zlatan as Lippi was biased towards Del Piero. The outcome of a bias is not good. Here is when I look at a manager like Mourinho as no matter what he will stay the speical one :LOL:

The season begins with a win for the Bianconeri, who win Chievo at the Delle Alpi in the late match of the season 2005-2006 first match. Fabio Capello is satisfied with the victory against Chievo and he commented his lads’ performance: “I’m happy with how we played tonight. We created many chances, certainly I have been worried until the final whistle about the fact that we were not making the most of our chances, because Chievo never gave up and pressed on every ball. In the second half we tried to make our opponents expose but they did not. It’s a shame we could not make the most of certain shots in front of the goal. As a whole it was a good performance against a side who, as I had said before the match, were the hardest.”
But you guys are forgetting one thing. When a technical and light-weight player is not playing well, he has no use to the team so his substitution is justified. On the otehr hand, even if a big player is not playing well, he can still be useful to the team thanks to his inches (don't get me wrong 
). That's the reality of football.
And it's not like Zlatan was that bad the other night, even the average ratings prove that. He was actually quite active and had a lot of chances. If that was a bad performance, then what do you call DP's performances when he doesn't even touch the ball once? I rather have a player on the field who guarantees me that he will be active (even if he misses all teh chances) than a player who does not guarantee me that and might or might not produce one bolt of genius in the whole game.

He kept Zlatan on not cause he wore a big threat in the offence, just cause he´s good holding ball and lower the paste.
