I did not see the game but Cagliari is officially the worst team in SerieA so I dont see what you need a coach to make Juventus beat them at home.

All the usual crap from the same ppl you read about in this forum blaming Morinaro, Ranieri and giving countless excuses for the ineffectual Tiago.

Ranieri is not playing, he is not creating or missing chances, it does not matter what his tactics are, the players should take a lot of responsibility for poor results.

They ought to know that a Cl place is a distinct possibility so they should be doing a lot better.

Blaming your usual suspects is not doing anyone any good. This is not playing against a midtable or top side, this is playing against the poorest team in the land and its absurd that our goalkeeper is man of the match.

All the time your fave Tiago was on the field. pray tell what did he do? Did he look like he was trying out there?

You can cuss Molianro all you like but for a manager its not only about talent it is also how much he sees that you are giving him out there.

Its amazing that save for a few individuals, the team as a whole always escapes criticism on here. The usual scapegoat is Ranieri as if the guy has personally done something to you guys.

This draw is the fault of the players, i dont care of a camel or a buffallo is in charge, we should be beating Cagliari at home. Away from home, against Cagliari now that different as then the manager is more culpable but at home, please its the team to blame for this not the manager

It's true what you say, but you see it's much easier to blame 1 person and replace him than blame and replace 11 players. also People would rather blast the coach than blast their favorite players.

But Ranieri's tactics were poor in this game. No doubt about it.

Ranieri welcomes Sissoko

Claudio Ranieri was satisfied with Momo Sissoko’s Juventus debut and praised Cagliari after the 1-1 draw.

“I am satisfied because Sissoko won back the ball several times in midfield,” he said of the former Liverpool man.

You can see he is a player who has already won League titles. It was a great game played by two teams who wanted to win, so the joint Man of the Match title goes to the two goalkeepers.

The Sardinians had taken the lead through Paolo Bianco, but within 60 seconds Pavel Nedved drew level.

I wanted the victory, but Cagliari did not come to Turin in order to be sacrificial lambs. They were confident and look in good shape.”

Davide Ballardini has finally turned a corner with his club after four points in two games.

We played fantastic football and my team confirmed the positive things I saw during the week.

The side has improved, even though I am convinced we can do even better. At the end of the day we are satisfied with the result, even though looking at individual incidents we could have had more than a point.”

Inter are under fire again over a penalty and Juventus boss Ranieri tried to calm the media storm.

I think Pierluigi Collina was very clear. When the ball hits the body first and then the hand, it is not a penalty.

There are referees who are in Serie A for the first time and need experience. We must all try to help them. I believe in their good faith and it would be wise to lower the temperature.”

Hi, please stop blaming the players. Sali, Molinaro and nocerino (who was impressive and effective in what he did in the first 10-15 matches, but now he´s been in bad form) are average players, not WC, but good team players.
I was more angry when we had Ibra and he just sucked, even though he was and is one of the world´s best. They are players(Moli, Sali , Noce, Palla), who are capable of doing their jobs, they never gave it up, but I agree, the game was a real catastrophe. A juve fan, who has ever kicked a ball know what is the problem. This is not football. just because we were 11 on the pitch and we played with the ball, that was no near of football. We don´t have team organization, no game plan, nothing, but this is NOT players fault!

So Ranieri? No comment...

the effect of the calciopoli is still there and will be for a long time...

I agree. The blame is all of Ranieri. He never plays vertical football. Only long through passes. But we dont have a playmaker in the midfield to create some good chances. Nocerino, Zanetti, Tiago and Siisoko are just players good for Serie B and not juve players.

We have 1 week rest before we play our next match. We didn't have this in almost 4 weeks.
We'll have Zanetti and Iaquinta back and hopefully better prepared Camoranesi, able to play from the beginning till the end. Zebina is also expected to be ready, we have Sissoko to replace the out of form Nocerino and maybe most important : We may have Buffon back.

So hopefully the only man we'll lack is Chiellini.
Udinese are out of form and they won only 1 point in last 3 (or 4) matches. This match will be their last chance to stay in the game for the 4th place.
fingers crossed, son.

Denco, you're a great poster and all, but I never thought you'd comment on a match you have not yet seen.

As for myself, I only saw a few minutes of the match because I was still drunk from last night, so I will watch the match later today. Does that seriea.tv place have the full matches?

im starting to hate watching us play..we are no were near the team we once were
first of all what coach cant figure out that having molinaro and sali as our fullbacks was going to cause us a lot of defensive troubles..although ranieri doesnt really have that choice with zebina and chiellini out i still think both sali and molinaro should be shown the door sometime soon...theyre useless imo esp sali
nocerino seemed promising but in all honesty i cant understand how he was kept in the game instead of tiago who helped on the first goal, had some good vision and nearly scored in the first half
for heavens sake cant anyone please tell ranieri that palladino is being wasted and will rot playing in a wide midfield role when he is a player that needs to be in and around the penalty box to create chances...hes a younger version of del piero without the freekick ability but yet will not be given the chance to prove so...id rather he be loaned out instead of wasting his talent on a role that doesnt suit him
belardi saved our ass but yet the goal we conceded from the corner i just wouldnt see happening with buffon
i like legro..if it werent for him wed be in deep shit but still..hes not wc material..no where near it,his regular one two crucial lapse of concentration every game will cost us esp since im sure hes regarded as our leader in defence for now...secco shouldve secured mellberg last month
i liked the presence sissoko had...quick one touch..good fighting spirit...physical presence
i really hope next week the boys realize how big of a game udinese is for us..we can hopefully put them out of fighting for a cl spot if we win but it wont be easy even though they are on somewhat of a slump because we cant keep playing at the same pace we have against teams like samp and cagliari
knowing ranieri was satisfied with todays draw is cause for concern really
he knows were juve not some midtable club like parma or catania
i really hope someone else will be in charge of our summer signings than these idiots or else we could be in for a longer rebuilding phase than we had all hoped for

Yeah, I bet. But it does suck not being able to comment on this debacle, however from what I've read from you guys I don't think much else needs to be said. We are heading towards the UEFA Cup really fast with these stupid decisions and I'm getting increasingly angry.

Time to get drunk again.

I still cannot believe Nocerino wasnt subbed for Sissoko. I just cant. These coaches earn money that even corporate executives dont and to make choices that are more clear cut imo. That was a straight like for like sub begging we all saw (even those of us who were drunk) especially with us at 1-1. The horror....
