Legro gives you that sense of security. He is pretty much a complete defender. Probably the best buy for Juve during summer...but thats debatable since Appiah has been so great as well.

nah , i think legro is a better buy than appiah :D
With your cheeky smile I bet your staement's got something to do with the look of the players?? :D

I think both of them are really nice bargains. And yes, Legro is doing some very astonishing movements in the back field lately...:dazed: Not going to compare him with Nesta but boy, Legro is good!

And Legro adds height to the defense which is great :) I never trust short defenders.... A tall striker like Vieri or Trezeguet can cause a lot of problems in the air with someone like Roberto Carlos in the defense.

In Juve's case, Thuram, Ferrara, Tudor, Montero, Legrottaglie, Iuliano, and Zambrotta are all pretty tall

(now that i think of it, its scary to play against Juve :dazed: )

Now add Lucio to our defense and we are set! That would be pretty cool. I am very impressed with Legro and Iuliano lately. And whats up with Zamboy for golden boot??? isnt golden boot for the person who scores lots of goals in a season?

Why Lucio? :wallbang: He makes so many silly errors and goes forward far too often for a CB! He seems to have a tonic for making errors in big games too; CL final, WC quarters, etc... Van Buyten and Mexes are much better, much much better.

i'd love to see mexes. but there are talks bout juve chasing kompany too, he's 17 and rock solid but I don't think we'll get him as MU is following him closely than juve are.

well, meow.. maybe it does have something to do with looks.. but im not gonna admit anything.. oh wait i just did

Yeah, alot of people are, but Martin has stressed that we not carry threads off-topic, and whenever these matches threads are started too early they always end up going off track since the match is still a good while away and we don't really have anything constructive to discuss.

You can remove the 2 CL games frm that list since we already qualified, so that leaves three tough games to play. If we succeed in passing unscratched, then we would be at a good point for the Scudetto.

Thanks to the qualification of the CL, we practically have up till February before we start worrying about it, so that gives around 4 months to focus just on the CL.

Now is the time to run away from Milan and Inter, who have yet to qualify for the CL so they will have to spread their energies equally. We can focus mainly on the league and that might be an important part for the league.
