Melo was probably our best player in the second half, he could have cost Juve a goal but he also could have scored the game winner in the end. Marchisio was invisible for a big part of the game.
Invisible?

Marchisio was the one holding position in the midfield and keeping the shape of the team when Melo was running around like a headless chicken.

I guess the goals they scored were included in the ratings they got and made their ratings higher by at least 0,5. (Talking about Pepe, Marchisio and Quag).
That leaves only Del Piero's rating as "undeserved" because if Quag's original rating was 5.5, as well as Marchisio's, then DP should get 5.5 too, because he played just as good/bad as those two and unlike them he didn't do anything remarkable.

Quag wasn't bad, he was quite involved a few times and also should have scored 2 goals but Pepe stole his 2nd one (or 1st however you put it).

I only think Melo deserves a 6.5 only because I think between him and Marchisio, he was the better of the two.

Lets not forget Melo is a destroyer and his role was to dispossess the opponent. His running around like a headless chicken won us the ball many times and protected the defence. He still made a decent offensive contribution as well. While Marchisio may have stayed in position, he didn't move to recieve the ball, when he recieved the ball he did nothing with it and he didn't apply all that much pressure (at least not to Melo's effect).

What Melo was doing was trying, Marchisio was just lazy and didn't contribute anything except for his goal which came from a blind assist into the area from Krasic. I would rather our players actually worked hard and made one or two msitakes then not work at all and have a blemish free but ineffective game.
