I think he can handle the pressure but as the Juve players clearly showed last season, they can't. He's doing it for the players, not himself.

Why would someone pile unnecessary pressure onto themselves?

I don't know why people keep blaming DC for this game.. Even rate his performance worse than Motta.. On 1st and 2nd goal, he is nowhere to be blame for the goal.. And for the third he partly blamed.. But Marilungo cross is so good for me, and the CB not mark or close down Pozzi.. And if people can say about DC give like 15 seconds for Marilungo to cross, try to count it.. Also why not blaming our MC that let the Samp's MC (Palombo IIRC) to spread the ball and make diagonal pass to Marilungo, why they can't block it..

I actually don't like DC and mention his ability in defense especially he can't block cross by opponent.. But on this game he is not solely the worst performer and i actually see him better that last season.. He looks more calm on the ball if you notice

To me, it looks like Del Neri can't handle the pressure after making such a statement.

I might be exaggerating a bit, but I would rather read something like we were bunch of frogs against Sampdoria but not read "we're no title contenders".

This is Juve ffs, we are always title contenders, even when we were back from Serie B we were trying our best until the end of the season. Either try to fight till the end or quit your job moron.

DC did better than against Bari, but he still can't cover his man, and prevent him from crossing. On the last goal, I think Bonucci is more at fault.

As for Melo, he bossed the midfield in the second half. In the first he was trying to out do himself when on the ball. He's looking for the killer pass which he doesn't need to do. He just needs to get the flow started, that's what del neri needs to tell him, keep it simple on the ball. Other than that, he was great, better than marchisio.

Del Neri's comments are psychological, he's challanging the team in his own way, encouraging them to fight out every single game. Anywyas, I don't think its about what he says in the media, rather what he says in the locker rooms that really count.

Dear Sir,
You were making some points and saying some things that certain people didn't like. Not being able to argue against what you said, they started to make fun of your username. Then the username debate was transfered to this thread and instead of a discussion about Del Piero it became a debate about your username in which more people were involved.
If you are smart you will stop defending your username and arguing with members over meaningless things and you will continue sharing your opinion on football related matters, because you did make some very good points.

Yep. He didn't make any critical mistakes but he didn't really do anything notable either.

I think the issue with Marchisio is he just doesn't put in the effort lately. He used to run his arse off and worked extremely hard that's what made him good.
