look at teams with world class players/squads who dont perform well. eg. inter and real madrid right now.
I never said that. What I meant was that players can win trophies without a world class coach but no matter how good a coach is he still needs players to go out there and follow his instructions.
Real aren't performing well because they don't have a balanced squad. That's my opinion. Sure, a better manager would help, but so would having a half-decent defence and a proper transfer policy.
Of course coaches make a difference, massive ones sometimes, all I'm trying to say is that it would have been criminal for the Milan team coached by Capello not to win the CL. That team was too damn good, and with or without Cap they would have succeeded.
If you think that Cap is tactically one of the best managers in the world I would be very interested to hear why you think that.
