no bro, we are talking about Zlatan, his confidence cant be low ;)
I hope so,I am worried about that too,I know there were times he was playing very very bad because there was a great pressure on him to score goals, thanx to media.

I'll say it until I'm blue in the face-

1) NEDDY SHOULD BE PLAYED IN THE MIDDLE, BEHIND THE STRIKERS

2) MUTU SHOULD BE PLAYED AS A STRIKER

3) ZAMBY BACK ON THE LEFT

I thought we played ok, but our finishing left a lot to be desired.

IMO, we seem to play more as a unit when DP is in there. It just seems to me that when Zlatan is in there, he tries to do too much on his own, and gets himself isolated from the rest of the team (in a tactical sense).

We moved the ball well, and had a rhythm going, but couldnt finish. It was an improvement from recent games, but we still have some work to do

Buffon- the toughest part of his game was waking up at the end 6.5

Zambrotta- He is doing whats asked of him on his weaker side 6

Thuram- Not much for him to do, which is better for us 6

Cannavaro- Was almost perfect, except for the effort he made on net !!! 6.5

Balz- Still has some work to do, but has a bright future 6

Emerson- He was good, but I know we can still get better out of him 6.5

Vieira- Arsenal hangover ??? I EXPECT more from him 5.5

Nedved- the man is dangerous in FRONT of the net, not out on the wing...as he showed today 6

Camoranesi- I thought he had a decent game, he gave Reggina some headaches on the right side 6

Del Piero- I have to borrow Rab's analysis...I couldnt say it any better !!
"MoM, our best player in the game IMO, did score the only goal that gave us the 3points, and what a goal a crucial one. His first 20min in the first half were good, gived trezeguet couple of good passes and not to forget earning fouls, too bad he didn't score a freekick today...His second half was also good, but should have moved faster in the counter attacks...his last combination with Mutu who delivered the ball to Ibra was great. Bravo Ale"...7

Trezeguet- He tried, but couldnt capitalize. He was more lively than usual...he is hungry to score 6

Cap- I was shocked at the treatment he gave to Zlatan... I thought that was reserved only for DP ??!! Showing Zlatan that he will be treated the same as everyone else is the best move he has made this season.

First of all, glad for the win... 10 points clear at the top, grazie Roma!

Il Capitano, what a stupendous Left-footed volley!!! and I also think trez had more of his better games, tho he wasn't on the scoresheet.

MoM is a close tie btwn Dp and Balza, which I think Balza just edges.... hardworking great runs, positioning, crosses and had a shot skimmed off the woodwork too!! Chiellini can warm the bench a while more methinks.

Great to see gigi back between the sticks, hope his confidence can improve, he was quite edgy tho' didn't have nay to do.

zlatan... zlatan... zlatan...... tsk... tsk ...tsk.....I criticise him fully for not scoring an easy chance... hope he can turn this around in the next match.

an juve is still juve 1-0 or not.

FORZA JUVE!!!

True. But to be honest, I don't think this really says anything has changed in Capello's head. As I posted here a couple days before the match:

    http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showthread.php?p=945854#post945854

Capello probably started a few people today so he can rest them against a bigger challenge in Chievo this coming Wednesday. If Capello really was committed to putting DP in "prime time", he would have been sitting out more of the Reggina match and not Zlatan. Mark my words come Wednesday.

    Uhhh...

    Errrrr...

    Ummm...

Do you watch much of any football? Dumb question, I know. But even if it wasn't exactly a stellar game, an over-the-top statement like you wrote above gives the impression that you probably can count all the football games you've ever seen on one hand.

    Mother of all hyperboles...

I wouldnt say we sucked but we defenitly played a poor match, Reggina at home should be dominated and won easeily and midfield should have some fun, yesterday they didnt, many times they ran around like chickens with their heads cut off.

But "sucked" is a little too strong for a team that won the match.

Oh, you obviously don't know when I was born, do you. :D

It's one thing to say "we sucked". But to say that it was the worst football match you have ever seen, with all do respect, you only serve to make yourself look foolish.

can you explain why is that ???it seems you dont see true football matches , if you do , you will see that this is rubbish if you compare it of how barca plays forexample , but it seems you dont see matches other than juve matches.

Here's my explanation: of the thousands and thousands of football matches out there that have been played by thousands of team, you chose today's Juve's 1-0 victory over Reggina as the worst football performance of all time. Nevermind how much Juve got drubbed by Milan earlier this season. It's a win against Reggina.

But that's not where this ends. As you mention, it's not just the worst Juve match of all time. It's the worst football match of all time. So to use your Barcelona example, we not only performed worse than Real Sociedad lost 5-0 to Barca this season... This performance was worse than Fullham's 6-0 FA Cup loss to Newcastle United at Anfield in 1908. It must even top France's 17-1 defeat by Denmark in the 1912 Olympics as the worst football game of all time.

I just don't understand how Juventus could still win today despite breaking such historical lows in the sport. :rolleyes2

Dude, Greg was around before football was even invented, and you have no idea what you are talking about in general, especially that creative middie thread.
