it would be sad if Delle Alpi didn't sell out, as tickets were starting at like 5 euros! wish I was in italy. Forza Juve!

I have to say....I will be so fucking pissed and dissapointed if juve screw up...no reason really. the players are good enough that they should be able to go in and play with heart and determination no matter what Capello does or says. no excuses

Ahhh, but it goes both ways, Vinnie. Some fans should give the personal insults a rest. Criticism is one thing. Personal insults are the resort of people devoid of anything intelligent left to say.

Both gazzetta della sport and RAI has Del Piero on the bench. It's on the headlines on the sport text on RAI UNO!!!!:(:(:(:(
It would be an inexplicable decision to start Ibrahimovic ahead of Del Piero in this game. Why start a forward who hasn't scored since February in a critical match like this one? There's no point in trying to improve Zlatan's form now that we only have two games left.

If Del Piero doesn't start and we end up losing the Scudetto, I will definitely blame it on Capello. I will also understand if Del Piero leaves Juve at the end of the season - that is if Capello stays.

We need to win this one! If we do, I'm quite certain we won't mess up and lose against Reggina.

Forza Juve!

I don't really understand why capello does not start with Ibra and Trez up front with Del Piero in their back. In that case, one could substitute ibra for mutu in the half time, or one could at least see what ibra can do if he has some reasonable back up in form of ale. Why does he always put mutu so far back; it's not his position... And in my opinion too it would be a big mistake not letting ale play.

Corini to miss Juve clash Friday 5 May, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Palermo look likely to face Juventus this weekend without the support of injured Franco Brienza, Eugenio Corini and Giovanni Tedesco.

Corini, who spent two seasons early in his career with the Bianconeri, has been struggling with a fitness problem for several weeks now and last appeared in the 1-1 draw with Ascoli on April 2.

Tedesco also worked with physiotherapists today, while Brienza is the only one of the trio who has a chance of playing on Sunday, as his left ankle injury isn’t too serious.

If Brienza fails to recover, Coach Giuseppe Papadopulo is expected to field Mario Alberto Santana along with David Di Michele, pushing Fabio Grosso into a wide midfield role and slotting Kewullay Conteh into the left-back position.

The Rosanero, who have only a slim possibility of catching Chievo for that final UEFA Cup spot, will also be without the suspended Leandro Rinaudo.

As for Juventus, their Press silence continues, but there are reports from the training ground that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to the starting 11, pushing Alessandro Del Piero back on to the bench.

The Swede hasn’t scored in Serie A since the 2-2 draw with Messina on February 18 and has managed just six goals all season

If Capello starts with ibra and loses the match it will be worst for himself with a packed stadium shouting insults on him:)

First of all I would like to say that I for one am also tired of reading the constant anti-capello campaign led by some members of this forum. But on the other hand they all love Juventus and they are entitled to express their opinions. All I ask is that they argue their case against Capello in a classy and elegant manor using personal opinions and arguments instead of just again and again writing stuff like 'crapello', etc.

:wth:

We're NOT all sick of Capello... :disagree: I'm not, and I'm sure there are millions of other Juventini around the globe who are happy with what Capello has done for this club. Just because a group of people on this forum has decided to dislike him doesn't mean we ALL do...

Beside a few matches this season, the exaggerated use of Zebina, using Mutu out of position and the lack of playing time for Del Piero I've overall been very happy with Capello this season. He has led Juventus to one Scudetto already and is very close to winning a second one with us. So frankly, I disagree with the notion many members on the board share - that Capello has been a failure and that we should sack him asap.

No... I say -

Thank you Capello for the success and happy memories you've given Juventus and it's fans throughout the last two seasons. And I hope that you stay with us for the remaining years of your career!!!!

About the match, I can't believe you're already complaining that Capello will bench Del Piero tomorrow just because some newspapers and sites say so. If Del Piero is benched tomorrow I will be the first to be unhappy about it but don't attack Capello already just because you read a proposed lineup somewhere on the web.

The loss of Corini for Palermo is a major boost for Juventus as he is without doubt their most important player.

Have some faith. ;)

Forza Juventus! Now I will go pray to God we win tomorrow and that Del Piero will play the full match.

I respect your opinion Alexander, but the problem is that with the great players we have and with the great team we are, winning a scudetto only (not to mention that we lost a 11-points advantage in less a month and that even today only remainig two dates we are not sure mathematicaly that we have won it) is a very mediocre goal. I mean we could have done much better. And IMO its not a team problem, the problem is that they (I mean Capello) are not moving all the pieces right to succeed in more objectives.
