The reason we are reacting this way towards such a news that, unless you are not aware, Capello has been consistantly starting Zlatan over Alex without no obvious reason. which caused us to lose points and trophies as well.
Del Piero is better than Zlatan in every single way you look at it.. End of discussion.

If a coach is so blind that he is still stubborn, and his ignorance and pride are overwhelming him not to start the better player at such a delicate situation he should be given his hat and showed the door.. Even if it was to a great coach like Capello.

Whether we win the match or lose against Palermo won't change the situation. Since last year he consistantly subbed Ale or put him on the bench.. Alex played much less than Ibra but managed to score more goals (17 compared to 16 goals for ibra all season). Still Ibra's form was really good that not so many people could argue about it. Ibra's fans and Capello's fans and the press said its all due to Del Piero being sub-par. When Zlatan got banned for 3 matches last season he had to use Del Piero.. The funny thing even the press beleived that the scudetto race is over because Zlatan was out. We knew that its for the best for Juve. Del Piero silenced everyone with his performance @ San Sero.
This season it goes even worse. Ibra is having massive trouble scoring PLUS his form has dropped just few weaks after the start. Not only that he got sent off a couple of times with a red card. Capello still insists to play him over the worlds best player Del Piero. Del Piero has played less.. Much less.. but he managed to score almost 20 goals (19 is ir right?) where Ibra is having trouble reaching half of that (9 right?).
The case is not only about Del Piero and Ibra.. It goes further towards Zebina and Blazaretti/Chiellini.

If Del Piero does not start at Palermo this could well be our losing the scudetto sign. Even if Del Piero gets in during hte 2nd half he might not be able to score. Games like this you need to have the most time you need. Besides, who will take our set pieces?? Ohh I forgot Capello is making Ibra take them this season.. Pethetic.

First of all I would like to say that I for one am also tired of reading the constant anti-capello campaign led by some members of this forum. But on the other hand they all love Juventus and they are entitled to express their opinions. All I ask is that they argue their case against Capello in a classy and elegant manor using personal opinions and arguments instead of just again and again writing stuff like 'crapello', etc.

:wth:

We're NOT all sick of Capello... :disagree: I'm not, and I'm sure there are millions of other Juventini around the globe who are happy with what Capello has done for this club. Just because a group of people on this forum has decided to dislike him doesn't mean we ALL do...

Beside a few matches this season, the exaggerated use of Zebina, using Mutu out of position and the lack of playing time for Del Piero I've overall been very happy with Capello this season. He has led Juventus to one Scudetto already and is very close to winning a second one with us. So frankly, I disagree with the notion many members on the board share - that Capello has been a failure and that we should sack him asap.

No... I say -

Thank you Capello for the success and happy memories you've given Juventus and it's fans throughout the last two seasons. And I hope that you stay with us for the remaining years of your career!!!!

About the match, I can't believe you're already complaining that Capello will bench Del Piero tomorrow just because some newspapers and sites say so. If Del Piero is benched tomorrow I will be the first to be unhappy about it but don't attack Capello already just because you read a proposed lineup somewhere on the web.

The loss of Corini for Palermo is a major boost for Juventus as he is without doubt their most important player.

Have some faith. ;)

Forza Juventus! Now I will go pray to God we win tomorrow and that Del Piero will play the full match.

congratulations !!!

You just identified yourself as a Capello lover, and NOT a Juve fan

hopefully you will leave also, when Capello is finally shown the door

and for your information, there arent too many Juve fans in the world who are happy with Capello, only the very naive fans are

I agree.

I was sceptical of Zlatan from the very beginning, I wasn't glad when signed him two seasons ago(especially at the cost of Miccoli, whom I had high hopes off back then...). From his ajax days Zlatan seemed to me, as one of the most overrated forwards I had ever seen. Ibrahimovic was pretty useful last season, but I think he overperfomed. Besides that, Del Piero never got a fair chance and scored as much and Trezeguet was injured. Anyway, last week's Siena match, is proof enough that the team performs much better without Ibrahimovic.

Although I don't agree with everything, I really liked this post.
It shows support for the team and the man who leads it.

Some of the anti Capello people should keep in mind that he's still in charge and that our "job", as fans, is to show support through thick and thin.

We are all entitled to our own opinions and even though they may not be accepted by everyone, they should be respected by everyone.

I just want Palermo's head on a platter tommorrow. They r very dificult at the moment but we must overcome. We have to win this thing especially since IMO losing it would be definately in dramatic circumstances and those are moments more difficult to forget.
Camo will be back right ? Wonder if he will start

Yeah, and should he?

The expression "Never change a winning side" comes to mind..

good post zaf, i agree with u and i want to clear one bit out, i think if del piero was in ibrahimovic's form this season we would've demanded for ibrahimovic to play instead ( with all respect to del piero no doubt he is a big part of juventus). but logically why start with a player that we have seen play poorly the past months ( to be honest ever since feb) instead of a player who not only scores he motivates the entire team. palermo is not an easy team its a team that might cos us trouble if we dont play with great determination against them.we have to close them down and make use of every offense we get. with ibrahimovic playng ia m afraid we will be wasting most of the chances that r given to us. i think capello should play the same way he played against siena its was the best way for this dreadful period in our title race.

no one here is mean or making things up the facts and figures posted by zaf speak out and there is always logical thinking. i honestly think dp should start not cos i favour him more but cos he is the answer to this title race.
