The problem is not the midfield it's Pogba. He is still too raw and passive to be a starter. We can barely hide Pirlo how will we hide a rookie 19year old. He should play again only as a last resort until Asamoah returns. Until then Giacherrini/Padoin should have priority.
He looked tired and exhausted second half. he was defensively good, but the team was static so couldnt do much with long passes.

He's also 19,dont assume he's pirlo

Vucinic's did hit his arm but nowhere near as obvious.

We could have had a further 2 pens with Vidal and Vucinic.
Don't want play the devil's advocate here but it was just as obvious from what i saw. About the other penalty there was no intent, he kicked the ball on his own arm, by FIFA rules that's open to interpretation, it's up to the referee to decide. About those other 2 pens i won't comment until i see the replays.

Pretty silly post. Pogba kept possession and broke up attacks, did what he needed to do. If anything, the blame goes to the strikers, including who you're named after.

Conte: VERGOGNA!!! Punched a cardboard ad. Same with Bonucci.

Chiellini: 3 pk's, went to the refs and said are you blind?

10 man for at least 20minutes, and we still played with the 3 men at the back, why oh why Conte?? and then to make things worse,Gio had to be the playmaker??seriously? Pogba was just standing around not wanting to get any playmaking decisions..And then the refs not wanting to give penalties to us! f*ck this!!
This.

That was a blatant robbery, the shirt pull on Vucinic and the hands on Granqvist. Seriously, what more is needed to whistle?

That does not mean that Juve played well, they were the obvious better team except for the forwards who were literally invisible tonight. The midfield was static mostly but for change we had better work from the wings. Shame it had to be De Ceglie who got owned for the goal as he put in quite a lovely performance otherwise.

    Buffon 6

    Barzagli 7.5
    Bonucci 7
    Caceres 7

    Lichtsteiner 7
    Vidal 6.5
    Pogba 6.5
    Marchisio 6
De Ceglie 6 (7 were it not for the ownage)

    Vucinic 6
    Quagliarella 6

    Giovinco 6
    Giaccherini 6.5
    Beltrame 6

If you have two arms in the air above your head and the ball hits it, you deserve to give away a penalty.

We have had one's given against us in the past for that and I expect to get a penalty when it happens to us.

Pogba did well from what I saw. The problem is that Quag and Vucinic are lazy and don't move much off the ball.

Need Asamoah and Chiellini back soon, too many goals conceded from left side.
Strikers hopeless as always, Anelka cannot be any worse in terms of finishing.
If last 5 minutes were played in Naples or San Siro, the ref would give the home team a penalty and the away team a red card.
Referee and 5th official must have known it was a penalty, at least by the players reaction.
