Oh, yeah, my ratings:

Abbiati: 6 Didn't have much to do, but was there when he was needed..
Zambrotta: 6 Solid game from him
Thuram: 6.5 Great presence in defence
Canna: 6.5 see Thuram
Chiellini: 5.5 wasn't too bad... but not good enough to start, imo..
Mutu: 6.5 He's finding his form in the team, and worked really hard..
Giannichedda: 5.5 Invisible
Vieira: 7.5 Dominant force in the midfield... Great assist too.
Nedved: 7 A very improved performance from him. Great goal.
Trezegol: 7 Scored 2 and a half goals :)D). 'nuff said.
Zlatan: 6.5 Even though he didn't score, he was very involved in play.

Subs:
Del Piero: 6 didn't do much
Pessotto: n/a
Blasi: n/a would be too good of a rating for him...

I said he won't score against Lazio but he will against Siena, don't be so smart next time.

You don't have to be sarcastic, d00d.

Not much to say about this match apart from our efficiency in front of goal and the fact that Cagliari gave us the weakest challenge we have faced thus far this season. It only took one chance for us to win this match and Nedved easily scored in the box and Trezeguet grabbed a nice brace as well. It really could not have come any easier to us because Cagliari looked like they had too much fun last night having a terrible hangover today or perhaps still being drunk...pathetic performance by a Serie A club.

We had no trouble creating chances and moving the ball around, and I don't even remember Abbiati having to make a single save. For most of the match Cagliari could not even get the ball out of their own half of the field and we just easily passed the ball around them until we got close to their own 18. Actually three of our goals came from ridiculous mistakes by Cagliari players, including inane passes around the back that pretty much cost them the match. Our defense was barely tested and while I really do not like Mutu on the right wing he still played rather well, along with most of the midfield and of course the forwards. I would have rather used the 4-3-3 today as it would make entirely more sense with Mutu up top against an extremely weak opponent.

Abbiati was not even tested to be honest.

Zambrotta had some nnice runs up the flank and was not really tested defensively.

Thuram was solid and didn't make one mistake throughout the match.

Cannavaro same with Thuram, as usual.

Chiellini was better than he has been recently, however he still makes weak crosses and gives the ball away too easily. He really has a hard time getting off decent crosses and that's worrying with him all alone on the left flank.

Mutu was decent even though he's not a right winger and had some nice moments with the ball.

Vieira was solid and everything in midfield went through him...except for the opposition, of course.

Giannichedda did everything he had to do, which is not much really..

Nedved was pretty decent and had a couple nice shots during the match. He was running extremely hard until the final whistle however I still prefer Mutu..

Ibrahimovic made some nice runs with the ball and his passing has still improved.

Trezeguet continues to show he's the most natural finisher in the world and is perhaps out most important player in attack...without him we wouldn't nearly win as many games as we do..

Del Piero really did not get much service when he came on.

Blasi the only thing I remember him doing is give the ball away deep in midfield...just as usual.

Pessotto wasn't really tested.

He always scores against Siena, it's his lucky team. 4 matches, 8 goals.
That's why I predicted he'll do it against Siena, actually I don't expect him to have much playing time against Lazio.

Yaaawn, sometimes i wish clubs like Cagliari at least would try to score.

Good match but a little boring to watch, but we won 4-0 and that was really what i expected from this Juve team.

Credit goes to midfield. Especially to Viera, Nedved.

Mutu and Zlatan was involved in play and running allot.

Trez 2 goals MOM.

Most credit goes to Cagliari for sucking ass!

PEACE! Im out.

Great game by Juve altho' Cagliari didn't give us too much of a hard time.:weee:

Abbiati -6.0
Didn't have to do much. Was alert when needed. He really has built confidence in these latter stages when buffon is ready.

Canna -6.5
Nay a foot wrong. Solid as always.

Thuram -6.5
Same as above. Cool as ice.

Chiellini -6.0
Got involved in the attacks frequently. Still made some rash challenges. Can only improve.

Zambrotta -6.5
Mr consistent. Linked well with Mutu.

Giannicheda -6.0
Did his job. Too bad he got injured tho'

Vieira -7.0
Was the epicentre of Juve's engine today.Excellent distribution and clamping down enemy threats. Played better than previous games.

Mutu -7.0
Was impressive. The first Juve player to chase down balls and create attacking threats. Gave his all.

Nedved -6.5
Had a good game . Involved in the attacking build-up as well. Was alert to score the 1st tap-in goal.

Zlatan -6.5
Had a great game in the first half. Was heavily involved in the opponents side of the pitch. Had a few nice shots also.

Trez -7.0
What can I say? two goals. Great positioning sense. He can also claim that 4th goal for his own as well. We can't sell this fellah.... yet.

Del Piero -5.5
Wasn't that involved when he came in. His time will come when he scores that Record into Juve's history books.

Blasi -5.5
Came on to replace Gianni. Had another howler that could have led to a Cagliari goal. Capello wasn't impressed. So was I.

Pessoto - NA

Juve were a well-oiled unit in this game and kudos for the manager to prepare the team even though the opponent did not seem like threatening our stranglehold.

My MOM would be a toss-up between Vieira and Mutu, but I think Mutu would just deserve it because of his 110% commitment in this game.

11 points on top and let's hope for a draw in the Milan derby.

FORZA JUVE!!!!

Capello: "You've gotta stop making up things. Nedved went back to the lockeroom because he got hurt and outside was very cold"

Sconcerti "The jouranlist only told you that the player wasn't happy to get off. The victors should have more class. If Juventus isn't liked that is why!"

Sconcerti, it hurts, doesn't it? :D

This Juve can win all the games.....
I think If milan loos points tonight and we win in olimpico next week against lazio and nothing special (Like injuries) happen, we 80% will be champions because:

1- we will play against Milan, Fiorentina, Roma, Parma & Lazio in home in second round.

2- Milan will play against Juventus, Roma, Lazio and parma away from home.

and milan still have roma to play in first round.

and for this match:
1- Vieira. man of the mach IMO.more to come from him..Best business by moggi these years. he will be Juventus secret power soon.
2- Great canna and zambro as always.
3- David Trezeguet will be top scorer this season. I told from start of season.

Forza Juventus.

Walk in the park.

I was so happy to see Viera back to the great form he had in the beginning of the season. It really shows how much he lifts the team when his great passing skills works. Another player that gets lots of respect from me and that I'm just as happy with as Viera is Nedved. He's really improved and his form this day might give us a sign of his old days coming back.

Easy game. Again. Second easy game in one week.
Not much to write about this match other than that we played decent, 'businesslike', juve-football in an easy match.... I like it. Though perhaps worrying for Serie A fans, that we have won 14 out of 15 matches this season and the gap seems to biggen between the 'big' guns and the small clubs.

We passed around efficiently and easily in the first half, making it quite easy to create chances. Though Cagliari's open defence helped us as well. It was already game over after 20 minutes, with Nedved and Trezeguet having used our first goal attempts. Pretty uneventful for the rest of the first half, with us dominating possesion and only creating a few chances. Playing low-tempo.

Second half pretty much the same as the first half, with goals coming from Trezeguet again and thanks to Vignati.
No need for a further analysis on the match, so I'll stick the player ratings:

Abbiatti: Nothing to do. We needed one save from him, which he made. 6
Zambrotta: Decent, lively and good in both defence and offense. 6.5
Thuram: As good as he has been recently. 6.5
Cannavaro: Good too 6.5
Chiellini: Good, but a bit sloppy at times. 6
Mutu: Started out lively and had some good moves in this match. Lacked somewhat in efficiency though. 6.5
Vieira: Good game, much improved. 7
Giannichedda: Some good interceptions, not much else to do. 6
Nedved: Good to see him play like this. This is the Nedved we need, my man of the match. Assist and goal scored. Not to mention the many meters he makes. Though granted, Cagliari gave him way too much space. 7
Ibrahimovic: Was involved in two of the goals, but looked a little out of sorts and frustrated otherwise. 6
Trezeguet: 2 goals again. Quite lively too. 7
