Abbiati 6.0 He was a spectator more than a player, but he was there when needed(twice)

Zambrotta 6 Average did some wrong crosses in the first half

Thuram 6.0 Solid never really tested

Cannavaro 6.0 same as Thuram

Chiellini 6 Average, implicated in the attack more than zambro but wasnt efficient and sealed Esposito

Mutu 6.5 A lot of work from his side,he could be one of the scorers

Vieira 7 He dominated the midfield, great game!

Giannichedda 6.0 Average game and quit game from this squad player, than means better than he is used to offer, his injury(if any) souldnt come now,i trust him more than Blasi in the midfield to replace EMO

Nedved 7.5 Super solid,he was all over the place, left, right, defence, long shoots,
he scored the opening goal and was implicated in a lot in our attacks! MOM

Ibrahimovic 6.5 Some good runs and good shows he has a more carefull, balanced game,he is growing to the player i want him to become!

Trezeguet 7 Trezequet was our attack, he scored 2.5 goals and had some opportunities to score more...

Del Piero 5.5 He never got to into the game, but it wasnt his fault,he came in was the game was decided...

Blasi 4 Dissapointing once again,he touched 3 times the ball and did 4mistakes:faq2:

Pessotto N/A

Great team game from Juve we were eager to win
and take advantage of any mistakes Milan might do with a crashing victory against a weak opponent,to put the pressure upon them...

PS he he, it worked!

Some members of another forum say this match was fixed because Cagliari looked like they didn't have the slightest care about the match. One of the "arguments" behind this notion from a Milan supporter is that whenever Milan plays Cagliari they struggle, but when Juve plays them we have a walk in the park.

Really? Thanks for admitting you lot just suck balls.
To the contrary, this goes to the heart of what differentiates Juve and Milan when it comes to the Scudetto. It was true last season, and it's particularly showing itself this season.

Milan can crank it up for the big match-up in a way that I don't think Juve can quite match. However, they have two real weak points:
1) They too often play down to their competition when it's against a mid-table or bottom dweller. They are the ones that don't seem like they have the slightest care about the match. Not their opponents when they play Juve.
2) Counter to this point, Milan occasional falls flat or self-destructs in the biggest of match-ups when it really counts.

If anything, I was worried that today's match could have been a let down for Juve after their win at Fiorentina last week and the Group title in the CL mid-week. But what was I thinking? This is Juve. If there's one thing we tend to do right, it's that we take those teams lower in the table seriously and ensure we put in winning efforts.

Very interesting comments by Milan fans...they always have the conspiracy theories, but the fact is that they are scoring the winning goals in '94 and '95 minutes of the game.

I thought the whole team played well. My ratings:

Abbiati: 6.5 He didnt have much to do at all, Cagliari's shots were all wayward but there were 2 vital saves he made.

Zambrotta: 6.5 He was solid

Thuram: 6.5 To be honest I dont think he saw much of the ball.. but did whatever it was that is necessary

Cannavaro: 7 He was solid, and made Cagliari worry with his two headers from corner kicks

Chiellini: 6 Still has room for improvement, but I think he is improving

Mutu: 7 I thought he played well, some nice dribbling as well, and helped the second goal

Giannichedda: 6 I dont think he needed to do much

Vieira: 7 What a relief to see him play like this from that horrible performance vs Fiorentina. Nice set up for the first goal, and he won most balls in midfield. Strong performance

Nedved: 7.5 Hes my MoTM. I thought he played extremely well. Very hardworking in midfield, and helped the defence as well. Was unselfish for the third goal, nice finishing for the first one. Brilliant.

Trezeguet: 7 I think Trez is more involved in this game than his usual standards :D Should've gotten a hattrick, the fourth goal was very unlucky for him. Always well positioned, and made some nice passes throughout the game to open a window of goalscoring opportunity

Zlatan: 6.5 Not his best game and probably could've done better, but he still did reasonably well
Im not saying that Zlatan should have better rating.. its fine 6.5,, but imo he did very well, he was involed(spell) in 3 of the goals, he also was very activ and not selfish, made some nice passes and had good general view over the pitch!

anyway, nice rating for all other players..

Lets cheer for the result and the game...and not to open Capello's case. I couldn't wait for this moment to see us (members) Finally Enjoying our time after the games without fighting. So lets not go to Capello's debate.

You're right, when you're right. Capello flopped in two big games this season, but Capello is a winner. He's bringing us the scudetto title, in such convincing fashion. Many were overly dramatic when juve lost those respective games, me included. We felt it was justified, because of the way he lost. Though maybe we should give Capello more credit for the easy victories he leads the team to, never dropping any points. We even won our CL group, while when we lost to bayern everyone was crying in desperation.

I was telling everyone to relax then, then people started to call me names (capello fanatic etc..).

I still think that every team can have a good and bad form in a season. The one we lost against Bayern was very normal, and Even the one we lost against Milan, with Chimenti in Goal, now we know what can happen, other players also were not inform, and maybe he even used the wrong tactics so what?

I know Capello is not a God,he makes mistakes and sure he knows that. everybody keep bashing him because he doesn't play Del Piero,or Mutu,or he plays Zambrotta on the right etc.. many non sense.I don't care if he makes 1st sub at 90th minute.the Guy gave us the winning mentality,I am enjoying watching Juventus,we are much better than Ancelotti's and Lippi's (comeback) game. we are beating the big teams, and playing a little better than those days.so why still critcizing him?

A super convincing Juve tore the balls off of an opponent who didnt show up to play today

It seemed to me that Cagliari had the look in their eyes of a Mike Tyson opponent, who had already been beaten, even before the bell for round 1

Anyways...we'll take it, and savor the fact that Inter disposed of Milan today.

here are my ratings-

Abbiati: not too much to do, but was great when needed 6.5

Zambrotta: still think he's better on the left 6

Thuram: solid as a rock 6.5

Cannavaro: as solid as they come 6.5

Chiellini: not bad...no real mistakes today, but wasn't tested too often 6

Mutu: not bad from a guy playing out of position...gets an extra .5 for that !! 6.5

Vieira: the real Vieira was back today...he can only get better 6.5

Giannichedda: he did well in Emo's place..better choice than Blasi 6

Nedved: he scored one, and assisted on another....guess where he was when he did it ???IN THE MIDDLE !!! he was all over the place making plays...he needs to have a free role, rather than being isolated on the left MOM 7.5

Ibrahimovic: he is passing better, and was unlucky not to score...he still needs to calm down...I saw that little hand exchange in the first half...not good 6.5

Trezeguet: he had an awsome second goal, sliding to get the shot on...almost had a hat trick !! 7.5

Del Piero: he came in when the game was practically over, and Juve was not attacking so much 6

Blasi: LEAVE IN JANUARY !!!! 4.5

I wonder if there is still anyone who doubts about Capello.. 14 wins out of 15 10 points ahead in Seria A standing.yeah right Capello sux
lets see what happens in the CL, snoop...

when teams ACTUALLY try to beat us
