Nedved's injury might be good news for DP after all. Remember when he used to play on the left hand side with Italy and even Juve last season? In my personal opinion DP plays much better in that position than as a forward so who knows, maybe the start of DP's season?

I doubt DP could play in nedved's position, he used to play there but I don't see him performing very well there.

Btw, Olivera seems to play really well in center midfield yesterday, I think he could be emerson's partner.

Kapo sucked, couldn't control the ball half the time, and had one great chance to score but blew it. (We are so short of covers for our first eleven)

Zlatan to me was good, whatta pass to Trezeguet to create that gol. Thats some creativity.

i read somewhere that nedved might b out up to 7 months
he is gonna miss CL finals again :down:

REALLY ???:eek::eek::eek:

Damn!! Rite when I saw the incident I knew it was bad. It's practically the same thing that happen to him at Euro 2004!! And its the same knee, I wouldn't be surprised if he misses 7 months, that might end his carrier?

I know that there will be another debate about DP since I know he isn't starting. But den it is a fact that Trez-Zlatan partnership is 1 of the best, every1 has to agree on this. Even though I luv our captain to play, but I respect Capello's decision, and in the end he earned us the 3 points and we r still at the top of the table. Pls I luv DP as well, but wad Capello does is good for the team, so I respect him for this. He's a great coach who has lead several teams to win titles. Everybody wanna be 1st rite? So Capello has no choice but to sacrifice the out-of-form DP and play Trez-Zlatan instead which is a good parnership from wad I'm seeing.

Been a while.
I am elated by the results of yesterday :happy:
But saddened by the loss of Nedved :sad:
Hope it will make Moggi open that wallet. Because however way we look at it, we need one or two new faces in the squad.

Making those tackles that completely break down the opposition's flow is a defensive midfielder's job ;) If Blasi wasn't getting a yellow card every now and then, I'd start to question his commitment to his task.

Actually, compared to Davids, Blasi's card tally is nothing! :) I love watching Blasi play; he's got grit and determination, and will do anything to get the ball :fero:

Actually I'm glad that this guy has been improving compared to his younger days, where his card tally tops the list twice. I'm glad that this guy is improving + his card tally is dropping.
