Nedved's injury might be good news for DP after all. Remember when he used to play on the left hand side with Italy and even Juve last season? In my personal opinion DP plays much better in that position than as a forward so who knows, maybe the start of DP's season?
he plays better on this position...true.....but he does not want to

I totally agree, but what do you mean with the bold part?
I made it known in another thread that I now call Cap "TRAP", for his defensive attitude, and losing leads late in the game...:D

Well do you think he'd rather sit on the bench then?
I don't know...... We'll see what happens....

Besides, do you think TRAP is smart enough to come up with that idea ???

Well not sure if he would want to. He did play with the trident with Roma though he did prefer the 4-4-2, leaving out Montella. So we'll see, but I'm sure DP can do the job that Nedved has not been doing for the past month or two.

Don Bes not too sure about that. The team seemed back to the solid early part of the season. Not spectacular at all but gets the result anyway.

We see what a mistake that was....

Amen to that.

Turning my attention to my second favorite team today, I caught the Livorno-Milan match. What a thing of beauty. What's scary for Milan isn't just the scoreline, but the fact that Livorno played really well against them and completely deserved the three points. Kaka played like, well, crap. Sheva was mostly held out of being an influence on the match.

But most of all, I had to give my complete admiration for how Livorno set a standard for Juve on how to hold on to a lead. After our pathetic outcomes against Parma, Cagliari, and Inter in recent weeks, here Livorno did far more than just try to dump the ball downfield and hold on to their miniscule lead by packing things in infront of their own goal. They challenged, the won possession, they continued to poke through for fast breaks and kept the Milan defense honest. Ahhhh ... I only wish that Juve could play with the level of commitment and tactics that Livorno displayed today on how to hold on to a lead. :sigh:

Forza Livorno!
