Nedved wasnt so good as he usually is, but he was alive in the 2nd half. Real class in the 2nd, did nothing special in the 1st. Del Piero was a disaster . How did he manage to miss 1m infront of an open goal!?
Camoranesi was king. Appiah was good. Blasi was average. Zambrotta was waaaay under his standard. I welcome half a billion for him from Chelsea with open arms. Zalayeta was good. Canna-Thuram was great. Buffon was helpless on the goal. Pessotto was good defensively, defending was his task today, so he was anonym.

Forza JUVE!! 3 nice points, but we couldve won it 4 or 5-1 with our chances, but we screwed up and it could've cost us the scudetto. anyway, good performance!!

Let us slay Milan!! at least draw...
I cant agree more :D

Let me say something to those who don't want Del Piero in our squad.
Why did we sell Ferrara a year ago?
Why did we sell Conte two years ago?
The answer to those questions are, those are not players that you sell. Those have become a Juventus Idol. Conte, Ferrara, Del Piero all have played for Juve alot and gave Juve alot.. You just don't let them ago.
You can put them on the bench if they are not playing well, but have to give them their chance in play if they are playing well.

About Del Piero, for those who are saying they have been waiting for Del Piero to retrun back to form for 8 years, well let me tell you something if what you don't call what Del Piero delivered in the last 3 Lippi Seasons (mainly the first 2) perfromance then I don't know what is. For an assistant striker he scored 16 goals each season just in the Serie A. They were all really important goals (winning goals). His assists and inspiration were great. He led our team to two scudetti and 2 Italian super cop and 1 CL final which we lost in penalties. He did not do that alone, this is Juventus not a Serie B team, but he played a main role in them PLUS he was (and still is) our captain.
I really think that Capello didn't know how to extract the best out of Del Piero. And I also think that Del Piero should work harder to stand up again.

Never the less, this season, although only played 25 matches he managed to score 12 important goals in the Serie A and played great matches but not upto our expectations. This is why he has to work harder.
I hope Capello understands that Del Piero is a Juventus Idol, and I surely hope that he is treating him as one. Sir Lippi knew the importance of Del Piero to squad, he surely did treat him as so, and he surely got his reward back from him :) .

We should treat him as so.. Just remember something that happenned a couple of months ago. Do you remember his back-heel goal? Do you remember what happenned afterwards? He left all his team-mates and ran straight to the fans... The fans that were standing next to him during the tough times... He ran towards them and gave them a "thank you flying kiss".... If I were a player I wouldn't care if journalists bash me all the time, as much as I care if my team fans, who I have inspired for more than a decade, want to me to leave because I am underpar..... We might be one of the reasons Del Piero is not performing... I know many will laugh at my post, but this is not just an online thing.. This is apreciation and respect you should give to your captain.. To a player who is a few goals away from being Juventus all time top scorer.. A player that have put (and I am sure is till putting) smiles on all juve fans. A player that is not playing for Juve because it is his job, he is playing there becasue he loves Juve. And for those financially oriented fellows, a player who is bringing to juve alot of money from ADs and items sales AND MOST IMPORTANTLY trophies.

I know if Del Piero would read your posts won't come and swear at you all.. He will just say two words "Thank you" and leave the discussion

This is something I'd also like to emphasize.I hear about Trezeguet's 1goal/2games ratio far too often and as a support forward whose primary job is not to score goals he has certainly delivered this season. These goals have come at opportune times when we needed them most, not when we were 3-0 up against some mediocre team.12 goals in 25 is a good statistic for most of the best forwards in the world.

man I missed Vinman's posts :touched:
Hehe.....

We got the job done, and I'm happy for that

Besides an awesome freekick, Bologna didnt have too many chances

Lets hope our momentum continues at the San Siro
