Am I the only one who thinks it shud have been more than 3-1?

Sheva missed a free header and a virtual one-on-one

Inzaghi missed an open goal

It should have been 6-1 if everything went Milan's way

:D :D :D

We are talking facts. And the fact is, that Juventus has shown a great performance considering its condition. Milan was stronger and won. There is no place for "should haves"

Simply Not Our Year, and Simply Milan's Year. Milan has won a few games they arguably should have lost (e.g., Lazio to my most recent memory), and many of the players are overachieving right now.

We're at the opposite end of the spectrum. But the fact is, there's no way this team really deserves to win the Scudetto.

As for the game, I'm impressed with what Juve could muster. I feared that Milan would hold back humiliating us further out of pity more than respect, but I think Juve kept things more in the respectable territory.

But it definitely is worth pointing out that Juve have really not beaten any of the other 4 of the Big 5 this season... since Roma last April. Even this year's Super Cup and both Inter matches in the Coppa Italia were ties decided only by the opportunity for penalty kicks. Unless Juve changes that equation, they cannot expect to advance in the Champions League, let alone make an honest run for the Scudetto.

Here's to hoping we learn a lot from our shortcomings/failures.
good talking .
we can't win everyhitng every year
mistakes must happen to be fixed, also we were bit unluck to have
all tha injuries at that time of th season..
also we've had so many chances to score b4 milan so if we had
then maybe everything would be changed...
then come seedorf shot which has change the dirction ..
its just that time when u think that everything went wrong
and what ever u try, u can't change..

anyway , im sure we are all proud of our players
and we all know that next season will better
cuz the thing which doesnt kill you
makes u stonger
:D

remember our match against Inter.. we were the favourite, inter were just hammered by arsenal and were missing a lot of key players, but we lost 3-1.. at HOME.. all juventini were hoping that that scenario could repeat itself, with us being in inter's place and milan in our's.. but, we couldn't do it..

there is nothing left for juve this season.. and I doubt that juve will win anything this year.. even the coppa..

And there is nothing wrong with that. It is sad and disapointing, but we are still the greatest in Italy and one of the greatest in Europe. We've won twice in the last three years, that is an achievement.

but after inters game , my god , everythign started to collapse...

I agree with you on that, we were all hoping against hope that things would turn around for us with this game, I believe that what we were hoping for is called a miracle. Hope springs eternal though, I'd still like to us win something, even if al we've got left to hope for is the Coppa. I don't think anyone should have any gripes about the results. Thee was really nothing pointing towards a Juve victory.

that's not true. We've won without Del Piero and we can continue doing so. We were playing crap way before DP got injured, so don't put it down to his absence

IMHO, it's lippi.. he ,somehow, couldn't deal with players' mentality.. di vaio was in good form, once DP returned, DV was benched.. and that got to affect the player's morale.. not only that, miccoli in many cases deserved a place in the starting line-up.. but, lippi ignored him.. and now when we needed them.. they fvcked up..

it's not about losing to milan only.. it's the winning mentality of the team.. you would bash me and bring up brechia's match and our comeback in that match.. but, let's admit it, brechia played bad in the 2nd half and the ref was shit..

another thing about lippi, can you tell me guys how many times you were upset about the starting line-up.. I don't know, but sometimes you don't need a rocket scientist to tell that these line-ups won't work..!!

agreed, and infact, I think he cannot give anything to the club anymore..

sh*t happens ... I mean we are crisis-wracked this season...injured players here and bad performance there, missing luck here and inability there - and where are we?

3rd place!!

I don't want to imagine what will happen next season if all these bad mistakes get switched off...

FORZA JUVE :thumb:

ps: place seven would be almost a crisis ... ;)

Yes, Lippi was overestimating and underestimating his players all throughout the season.

But something happened this year. in previous years Lippi would rarely make such mistakes.
