Today was a prime example of referee's being influenced by the hysteria in the Italian media and why we need to act to prevent it. It could very easily have cost us. You could tell nobody in the VAR studio wanted to say it wasn't a pen, probably because of the abuse/death threats Orsato received.

Costa changed the game, he was magnificent. But worrying how much we rely on him and how we don't seem to start playing until we are behind.

Matuidi was dreadful again. I don't think we can have a midfield that includes him and Khedira, when what both bring is mainly movement. Given Khedira's goals, I would go with him.

The second half was excellent and they deserve credit for turning it around.

It was a dubious penalty anyway, even with the old rules. It's not enough to just go goal side and fall over. Always seems to be in Italy in a fk situation but a penalty? Nah.
