Lol, our entire first half was on Vucinic's shoulders. Everything we created out of nothing, including the chance for the goal and the chances Marchisio, Giovinco etc had was from him. Terrible 20 minutes in the 2nd half, when the entire team was almost as bad, but overall he was one of our best players and gets a clear 6.5 from me. Noone really stood out, so I can't easily pick a Motm. I'd give it to Pogba because he was just as good as the other better players, but crowned the performance with a goal.
agree with this. Vuc is alright in the 1st half. and even though without a goal, should still be rated higher than gio...

Meh.

Fairly indifferent stuff for the most part.

Still, it's a win with minimal effort and the Juve players a booking away from missing the Napoli game came through it cleanly.

Juve were moving the ball around reasonably well in the first half - made easier by the giant space Siena were leaving in front of their defence - but there wasn't really much suggestion that a goal was coming because clear chances weren't really being created.

Pegolo intervened and got the job done, though.

While Juve dropped off a bit too much, it was still good to see them going deeper once they went ahead to remove the danger of conceding on the counter-attack.

Fair puts the pressure on Napoli ahead of their game tomorrow.

Good result but poor football from Juventus.. The first half was ok, but the second? Man, my eyes were burning..

And Vucinic, pff.. He was terrible in the second half, was happy when he got out. First half he was ok, good pass but that's it.

The best players in my opinion were Barzagli & Pogba. Buffon some good saves, still the best.

It is interesting that a Juve player, Vucinic, had a good first half because he had ONE decent pass actually that pass wasnt very precise and needed goalkeepers mistake to look good and productive, very poor standard for Juve game.If that is good Juve football...
Also, for some Gio had a good game because he scored a single goal after another goalkeeper mistake, and goal was significant because it was scored at crucial time against bloody Siena, if it was Real Madrid I would said that goal is very significant and Gio help Juve a great deal, but Siena?? Poor standards for Juve attackers.

No it wasn't great before the AFCON either, he was only great in the first four or five games in the season. After that his only trick was exposed and learned by every team in the world.
I agree with you. So far I have yet to see a great performance from Asamoah. He doesn't deliver anything. I think he is a solid player but LWB doesn't suit him at all

They didn't had the best of the games but what do you want mate? We know that they're not good at all, nothing new.

But what's so bad that they scored against Siena? I mean, it's their work, if they hadn't done it who knows if we would have won. Every game is important now and it is important that we have won against bloody Siena 'cause Napoli is just a few points behind us. So indeed Giovinco helped Juve to get a great deal. I'm not defending him though, I want him out. But what you're saying is just ridiculous

Just saying that we settled for poor standards in attack, Del Piero and Trezeguet look like aliens from this perspective.
