Because we're that shallow, right? Anyways Padoin does a bare minimum and nothing more, sometimes not even that. What about 1st Milan's goal, where was he for Muntari's shot? It's not like he never screws up. People shitting over Isla constantly, but at least with him around there's potential, some chance that he'll have a good run, cross, unlike with Padoin in the team. The guy has difficulties of controlling a simple pass ffs. Poor man's Pessoto.
Using a player's potential is a cheap way of sweeping their problems under the carpet when they don't actually provide any positives. If that were the case your posts on Marchisio should be very different, but you're not quite so forgiving.

Taking an instance of Padoin not controlling a ball in his last match doesn't evolve into what happens every game.

Isla and Padoin are just about as bad as each other at the moment. Isla still has the potential to do better whereas Padoin was always cack.

I think we'll lose this one.

Tough game ahead of us which we need to win if we want to put the pressure on Roma.

if we lose this and Roma wins, the gap between us and Roma becomes too big.

I predict a 1-2 scoreline for nipples.

Maybe because Marchisio didn't have a long term knee injury which would have kept him on the sidelines for 6 months and prevented him to integrate into a new surroundings. Padoin having a trouble to control a simple pass is something which didn't happen only in his last game.

Nah it isn't, not more often than most other Juve players, and because he performed worse than the usual of a quietly solid display it was used as the headline for those that think he's been a horrible player for Juve. I didn't think he had a good game either, but apparently I'm just a fanboy.

Isla's injury becomes irrelevant after 18 months, he had his pre season and still hasn't improved. For Padoin leaving Muntari too much room in that game, you can look at Isla vs Galatasaray creating a number of counter attacking chances, and being nowhere to be seen for the 2-2. And it's not just that game, he's looked lost quite often. There's no reason for them being direct equivalents in any discussion on their Juve career.
