Ah, must be the first time that jack is acting like a strawman. But there is a first time for everything.
As jack offcourse knows, i meant the following
Against this pathetic napoli defence, its a good plan to press it like hell, and force them into hoofing it away or making errors. I recall chelsea defeating a mighty barcelona like that around 2000. Just press the backline, dont allow buildup, expose them.
Now ideally, you have 4-3-3 like in our first year, with pressing and pace.
Problem is offcourse, that we dont have a leftback at the moment. both are injured. So we are forced to play a 3man backline.
A 352 can perfectly put pressure aswel, its just going to be less vicious in pouncing on the errors.
Against madrid,we were the better team when playing with 11 in both games, and we showed our amazing organisation, pretty much putting ronaldo and bale on a leash.
The issue is that the individual form was bad when we started the first leg, but has improved since. Madrid has to be increadibly lucky after getting 3 goals gifted by blatant individual errors we would otherwise never make
- the retarded offside trap
- the idiotic penalty and later red card
- the moron backpass
I remember Inter in 2009/2010. They were making silly mistakes before newyear. Afterwards, they shocked a great barcelona team without making a single mistake.
Thats having a perfect organisation, in bad and good form
