Someone should tell Max that playing 3 in midfield is more important against teams that attack us (Napoli) rather than teams that will just park the bus like Crotone.
But I'm just happy that this stubborn guy is trying something new.
Playing with 3 cb is fine, we're still going to win. Although having a midfielder or striker more against a team like Crotone would be more useful than a third defender
Playing with 5 defenders and 2 DMs means we will have a harder time breaking their bus. We are going back to beginning of the last season playing with 5 CBs.
We are sacrificing an attacker for defender. I much rather we add another midfielder if we want to bench one of our attackers.

I would say pushing Sandro up the field with less defensive duties helps us more in attack than having him with more responsibilities and have a worse player higher. Also this gives us more flexibility to play with 4 at the back or 3
