Our classic 4-2-3-1 actually turns into a 4-4-2 almost every game with Dybala dropping a bit more deep (SS/CAM) than Higuain who is our most advanced player (ST) while in the same time you can see Mandzukic (LW?) and Cuadrado (RW?)keeping the same line with our two CM’s so basically absolutely everytime when we defend we actually play a 4-4-2 and even when we atack is a 4-4-2 and only looks as a 4-2-3-1 because our LM/RM’s make runs forward or position theyrself higher on the pitch because normally when u play a classic 4-2-3-1 the LW/RW’s dont drop back everytime to protect their LB/RB’s...(that means we can say they actually RM-LM’s)
In all honesty the 4-4-2 suggestion is not really anything new, we been playing for a whyle now with this 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 which alternates during games. So if we looking for a change this formation ain’t really a solution.
