@RKid1 on suicide watch after this display.
And he was so hopeful that we would lose.
Don't worry you have always next week
As far as I'm concerned, Allegri won the first game of the season 3-0 in the past 2 seasons as well

So where is the improvement?

Forget the opposition, JJ played attractive (winning) football with next gen kids and new/inexperienced players, this with all the chaos happening off the pitch with the mercato.

Just imagine what we could do with a full strength team.

People comparing this to Allegro's first game last season, well its not about the scoreline, its more about the approach and there is clearly a night and day difference.

We made the right decision in prioritising the midfield and that is already starting to bear fruit.

Lets not forget Pirlo also won his first game pretty impressive and then everything went bad.
There are few visible problems this team has:
Cabal - has to work on his passing from centre back or he will make us loose goals cuz of it, or maybe should just play LB - looked much more comfortable when put more forward.
Vlaho - he just has to improve should be at least 4:0 yesterday

Atleast he is not rookie like Pirlo who had Ronaldo to bail him out.

Dusan was pretty unlucky to be far and had a goal taken away for no reason.

Cabal I expect to make way for Kalulu

I remember that Sampdoria game. We won convincingly but we were all over the place tbh. Besides, we played a near full strength team in that game.

Our defense certainly looks weaker and against better teams, we are likely to leak goals but what makes me optimistic is our midfield. With Luiz, Thuram, potentially Koopmeiners and hopefully an improved Locatelli, we are going to control most games especially in this shitty league.

the most positive thing i take from that game is that midfield looked dominant and that Yildiz looked like WC player
