So you admit it's not the player who's the problem here, is it? Since he used to it, but he's no longer doing it. It seems to reason there is something in the environment that is not pushing him to do this.. like I dunno.. a coach?
Do you know exactly what Ciro does or says in the locker room? Why are you so sure that he just sits there and doesn't say shit to anyone? He didn't say at half time 'ok lets save our energy and stop running'. And when he saw them not working hard on the pitch was he supposed to go out and talk to every player personally?

I thought the argument was about Tiago is specific.
Its more a debate about Ciro's bearing on the player mentallity and his ability to counter the contageous attitudes of mediocre and unproffesional players in the middle of a game.

It doesn't very much matter if he says a little or a lot, what matters is how he affects behavior. If he says nothing, if he says a lot and they don't listen, if he says the wrong things, or if he says the right things but without being the kind of person they are willing to listen to, he's clearly failing at imprinting the very characteristic of Juventus - the winning mentality.

When I found out.....I was at rage. I did't care of Dinamo's loss to Hajduk....I was angry at 2-0 throw-down in Turin. I must admit,it's time to sack Ciro. I was first at chanting for him as head coach of Juve but now I see we all made a mistake. Nothing is impossible, only miracles take a bit longer. Longer is a phrase that we cannot afford any more in terms of time.

i agree with you

The strength of Capello doesn't lie in half-time speeches, the whole regime under Fabio is way more different than under any other modern coach. I'm not saying we should include army-like regime, but some discipline should be established. For example amateurish mellbergish mistakes in our own half that Grosso committed in the last two games or that Melo has been making all season long should be eradicated. That said, I still believe in Ciro and fully support our coach.

I am against sacking in the middle of the season.

Last season was an exception for me, Ranieri was not going to win us the last two games.

Yeah I asked his head because of the 4-3-1-2, but after seeing him realized that he should have changed the formation and he did it, I think he deserves another chance, I can't blame him for the last match, sure he had his role (you are not allowed to lose a game when you are in lead at 60th minutes and with two goals), but injuries had the role too, as for the previous matches, and specially the ones before Maccabi, all the loss of points were his fault, only! For the obvious reasons..

Great offense but a shaky defense, who would have thought that a few weeks back when we were rotting with the 4-3-1-2?

If a manager can't do this, then who can? Under Capello these things didn't happen. We were really solid, we would not let a victory slip, let alone concede 3 goals after the match had already been "won" by a 2 goal cushion! Let's face it, Napoli is not Inter. It's understandable to lose an advantage against a big club, but we have to be able to beat the Napolis of this world if we are to accomplish anything.
And another thing. People seem to think that adding good players magically makes the squad good, something apparently which the coach has very little influence upon. Well didn't we just add Diego and Melo? And did they make the difference? Weren't they both on the pitch when those 3 goals were lost? We maxed out our financial resources this summer, we HAVE no way of buying more players. So what do you suggest we do? Sit around waiting until that glorious moment when we'll be able to afford the most expensive squad in the league?
there you go again, Martin, making lots of sense

Sack Ciro now, we immediately ruin the entire season.
what...its not already in shambles ??

I'm against sacking him now but if we don't win against Maccabi I wouldn't think twice.
I dont think you would have to worry about it...if we lose in Israel against these minnows, I dont think he'll make it back to Torino alive

So people are already dismissing Melo and Diego as players?

Just a matter of time before they're given the "lazy" punchline. Probably already have.

Strange really, yet countless people make excuses for that useless fool Poulsen. Melo is erratic thats for sure but he is 20x the player Poulsen is. As for Diego the guy is class anybody who says otherwise is a fool.
