I'm pretty sure we used a formation with one forward. It worked well against Roma, who knows?

Tactically, it did work.

Juve completely stopped Udinese playing and created several good situations.

The problem was that the Matri-Pepe front two was so lacking in technique that Juve weren't able to convert those situations into real chances.

Bringing Quagliarella or Del Piero (or both, even) into the team should help to sort that problem.
