When i watch Juve now i feel like for alot of players, its them versus the fans rather than the opposition. Its such a bad vibe out there at the moment.. i guess everything can be solved by winning games though this makes it very hard.

We played badly, and somehow pulled out the win....at this point, I wont complain too much about a win

2 things that have to change are our formation (the 4-3-1-2 doesnt work offensively, and it leaves our weak-ass defense completely out to dry) and GIOVINCO has to be included in the starting lineup.

The 4-2-3-1 is the best option we have....even if it leaves DP out of the starting lineup. He could always sub in for Diego right behind the lone striker. This formation will give the defense more protection, and we wont get beaten on the counter attack so often. Our defense against set-pieces is another story all together

Buffon
Zebina Canna Chellini Grosso
Sissoko Melo
Camo Diego Giovinco
Amauri

Whether Zac would actually take some good advice is another story....until then, we are going to struggle and lose many more games, because Atalanta played a better game today, and were lucky to lose.

MOTM goes to Giovinco, who demonstrated to the entire team just what having pride for Juventus is all about:ultra:

Pretty poor game by us, again. The draw at halftime was justified, even though Atalanta only managed to score thanks to a massive brainfart by our WC- winning LB.
Second half looked to turn out like a complete disaster, yet again. Because even though our players' individual performances weren't all that bad, the team as a whole did not function. Leading to a number of Atalanta chances.
Subbing on Melo was always going to be a gamble, but it worked perfectly. As a result, we controlled the midfield for the first time in months. From minute 70 to minute 85, we actually saw glimpses of a winning team.

Now I don't know if that was due to the 4-4-2 formation, but it's definitely something to think about.

Manninger 6 - Decent game. Nothing extraordinary, but did his job.
Zebina 6 - Did quite well, all things considered.
Legrottaglie 6 - Mostly calm & assured performance.
Cannavaro 6,5 - Directed play at the back, a couple of immense interventions.
Grosso 4,5 - Overall mediocre game. And regardless of Grosso's (lack of) quality, a player with so much experience really has no excuse to screw up the offside trap so blatantly.
Candreva 5,5 - As always a very bright start, only to fade away after a while.
Sissoko 6,5 - We need him in the team. An in form Momo is vital absolutely vital to us.
Marchisio 6,5 - Another good game. Impressive work rate, coupled with a good reading of the game. Our most complete midfielder, by far.
Diego 5,5 - Mediocre, but did not have much time.
Del Piero 6,5 - 1 goal, 1 assist. Can't really ask for much more, even though he was under par for big parts of the game.
Trezeguet 5,5 - Should have scored. Pretty involved, but an off day I guess.

Giovinco 6 - Some great moments but he should really impose himself a bit more. Needs to play on the flank, seeing as he completely drowns in the middle of the pitch.
Melo 6 - Shaky start, but his bad passes didn't lead to immediate disaster so that probably gave him some confidence. Still a liability though. Nice header.
Amauri 5 - Very little impact on the game.

What did I say? did I not say Juve will win when GIOVINCO plays? The guy didn't play in months and still was able to show moments of brilliance. Changing the game with his pace and skills, if he did not play Juve would have collapse late like we have done so often this season, instead we were pushing and got the winner.

When I realized that we won I said to myself, dammit, sylvester87 was right.
