I'd be interested in seeing this also. Coman would get more game time in this formation as first sub for both Morata and Pereyra, and Llorente would probably be more effective between two wingers who can cross, acting as a focal point for those crosses. We'd create a lot on the ground with Tevez in the middle, and in the air with Llorente in the middle. And against smaller sides a front 3 of Coman--Morata--Pereyra might be very exciting.
:agree:

The 4-3-1-2 will do from now till the end of the season, but I really hope we do see a concerted effort to change to a 4-3-3 from next season.

Watching Morata and Coman both race down the wing today, and completely outpace the defenders, was pretty exciting. Imagine the two of them on opposing wings, or that Coman--Morata--Pereyra. We'd be counterattacking gods, only the finishing would be a question mark. Morata can finish, Pereyra seems to have issues, and Coman hasn't played enough to really have an idea of his composure in finishing.

But we should have Tevez for another year, so a starting front 3 of Morata--Tevez--Pereyra would be very interesting. Much preferred to the stupid switch to 3-5-2 we are doing at the moment to see out games.

I favour this formation as well. We have to at least try it. The 4-3-1-2 is the epitome of winning ugly right now.
:agree:

An ugly win is still a win, but eventually the bounces don't go your way, and poor results start to happen more frequently, like away to Cesena.

It wasn't a good performance but I will definitely take the result regardless. They scored an almost identical goal to Milan, against the run of play from a corner. Giving credit where it is due, a fantastic goal from Pirlo. Having said that, whilst he did some good things, I still think his time is up. His general performance for 90 minutes over the course of the season is just not good enough, despite a few moments of brilliance like his strikes against Olympiakos, Torino and again this match.

On the topic of formation, I would definitely love to see a shift to 4-3-3. I think it will require a few purchases to fill in some holes, mainly defensively. With a good defensive pairing, and a strong central or defensive midfielder, it will provide surety to our defence and a solid foundation to build upon going forward with the attacking talent we possess and most likely will add too. I am thinking Marchisio and potentially Vidal playing in front of the defence, although I can see a purchase of a good midfielder to fill one of these positions. If we can keep hold of him, I would play Pogba behind Tevez with Morata and Coman on the wings, with a long term view to potentially Zaza, Dybala, Berardi etc. slotting into these roles if we end up purchasing them.

I will never understand the late Coman subs. It's almost an insult to the player.

juventini is so cute.
hate pereyra just because of his price.
you dont remember when pirlo and vidal missed few games in start of season.

you are too delusional just because juve dont buy player what you want.
No, we are delusional because we think Serie A is good.

No, we are delusional because we think Serie A is good.
he is first 18 years old player to play for the first team since del piero era.
del piero didnt play many games when he came,

it is not juventus mistake that serie A is not in good condition.

That was a key pass though. The point is when he finds himself in these situation and that happens fairly often (he's got good movement off the ball, makes good runs), his crosses are of the highest standard.
He had several opportunities to cross but he didn't, there was a moment where he and Lichtsteiner passed the ball to each other endlessly putting themselves in crossing situation without crossing.

Surely you're not referring to the last 15 minutes, when we decided to waste time.

That was scary. We were nervous and collecting yellows like crazy.

Need to take those one on one chances. Pereyra, Pogba and Caceres all had one and failed.

You wont get so many clear chances in CL.

Agree. On another day, against better opponent this would come back to haunt us.

In the last 15 minutes we lost control completely. Thought that switching to 3-5-2 would make us control the game without too much effort, but we started to make silly mistakes and looked only for the game to end.
