With 3-5-2 maybe Can have a chance to play in the mix CB-CM Max did for him last year
Or how about instead of introducing a third system in quick succession, one the coach had no plans of using and that requires 2 FBs anyway (WBs are almost always FBs), we play Can at LB, a position/role that's not foreign to him?

So... we’re now in a position where we have 2 wide players left. Great transfer window Paratici. Well thought out.

This was so predictable..

Do we have anyone that can fill in from the other teams u23 etc?

sarri won't do that.

in fact, agresti reports that sarri was so impressed by rambo so far that we'll stick with 4-3-1-2:

I know that Sarri doesn't like a three man defence but there is no other option especially matuidi at left back maybe emre can perform the dual role of midfielder and defender

We are forced the use Matuidi as a LB

Thank God it's "only" SPAL. No banana peel here...

I didn't know that and noone is asking for a third system, we r talking about Fabio-Non-FB-Juve and looking for options cuz sadly it could be an issue all season long

Interesting Bernardeschi has played fullback before. He did it against Lech in Europa. I distinctly remember him playing wingback with Paulo Sousa but in this game it looks like he ended up playing as a fullback. Obviously not anyone’s first choice but perhaps he’d be an option in an emergency as well.

As for reverting to a back 3. Of Chiellini were healthy I’m sure that would be an option - you could play Chiellini, Bonucci, Rugani all who have played in one. With Chiellini hurt, you would either throw de Ligt into tactical hell, or you’d push Can in the role. Both are risky.

The safest imo is Beruatto. He’s a natural fullback, is game fit, and it’s against Spal.
