He did much better than Marchisio in the Parma game he brought some more physicality and an amazing goal. If only Marchisio were able to tackle. He also did much better in the Catania game. He played scrappy football but at least he imposed himself on the game a bit and made decisive tackles becoming involved in the play going forward. But my point is that he looks to do those extra things that Marchisio rarely even attempts and his history of doing those things successfully is very good.
Vidal's physical presence works well for our game plan as we look to keep the ball locked in our half, Vidal ensures the opposition doesn't make a counter attack. When he came on each game, we were able to press much more easily for longer.

In the first few games when Vidal came in the second half and like you said kept pressing the opposition high on the field it was because he was playing in a free role and it was Marchiso who had the job of covering for him and Pirlo. That's what i said after those games that you could be impressed by the way Vidal is playing but it mainly due to him playing on free doing whatever he wants, and i was spectikal of him in a 2 man MF because his priorities will all of sudden change and he will not have that freedom to go forward and not worry about the MF because Marchisio was covering for him. Like i said Vidal is the better player but he needs time to adapt to his new role until then Marchisio is doing a fine job there so i don't mind him starting.
