He did much better than Marchisio in the Parma game he brought some more physicality and an amazing goal. If only Marchisio were able to tackle. He also did much better in the Catania game. He played scrappy football but at least he imposed himself on the game a bit and made decisive tackles becoming involved in the play going forward. But my point is that he looks to do those extra things that Marchisio rarely even attempts and his history of doing those things successfully is very good.

Vidal's physical presence works well for our game plan as we look to keep the ball locked in our half, Vidal ensures the opposition doesn't make a counter attack. When he came on each game, we were able to press much more easily for longer.
That's the point you can't do that's something extra and don't do you priorities wich consist of covering for Pirlo and sitting back wich Vidal failed to do in the second half because he tends to go forwards on every occasion wich left us vulnerable for counters and we were lucky we didn't concede in one of those.
In the first few games when Vidal came in the second half and like you said kept pressing the opposition high on the field it was because he was playing in a free role and it was Marchiso who had the job of covering for him and Pirlo. That's what i said after those games that you could be impressed by the way Vidal is playing but it mainly due to him playing on free doing whatever he wants, and i was spectikal of him in a 2 man MF because his priorities will all of sudden change and he will not have that freedom to go forward and not worry about the MF because Marchisio was covering for him. Like i said Vidal is the better player but he needs time to adapt to his new role until then Marchisio is doing a fine job there so i don't mind him starting.

Exaclty.

By any standard of fanboy-ism that's stretching it pretty far, don't you agree? If you are serious about you B, then I really pity you. Marchisio is by no means technically impaired, but nowhere near the standard Vidal brings.
Marchisio is better technically
He did better in every game (except against Bologna but he played LB so...)
No.

The level of idiocy in some of the pro-Marchisio arguments is staggering. Technically better, oh god the lulz

What are you talking about we suffered less counter attacks because Vidal kept us playing it. He shut down lots of play in the few cameos that were given to him and we pressed much more.

Did we watch the same game ?? In the second half when Vidal swapped position with Marchisio and played alongside Pirlo we suffered the more counters and we were lucky to not concede.

It really is shocking how he can do no wrong. He could score three own goals in one match and his fanboys would still be on here "oh but did you see the technique in his own goals, Vidal couldn't do that ever..."

I agree he was scrappy for that game. He was bleeding a lot from his head mind you but he wasn't that bad and in every other appearance he's been extremely positive. Marchisio has been terrible in the last three games. Likee I said we need his physical presence out there to stand up to other clubs trying to bully our midfield. He has done that for the most part so far and he deserves a real chance in our real system to prove himself properly.

I agree about everything bar the part where you said Marchisio has been terrible in the last three games because it's not fair, let's leave for Conte to decide who starts. ;)

Motta di Goat: We can win Juve this year too. Last year we dominated and I don't see why we can't dominant this year, even if I have to admit their squad is better than the ones we faced last year, but Mr. Conte will get his head served.

Barbara: If my duck plays he will score but I don't know if we can still win. My duck alone isn't enough. I need two ducks up my a sorry two ducks on the field.

He's either modest or an idiot. How can Milan's this year squad be better than last year's one, when Motta played LW for them and they played 12 vs 10?

Exactly. We were countered A LOT, and much more than the previous games.
