I doubt it is because Pepe is better than Elia. I guess it has more to do with Conte wanting to insert Elia in time, probably because he wants him to learn the system and the language.

Agree. Just hopes he fields a team with a lot of width. That is really where Milan are weak. Don't see much of a point thumping on Silva and Nesta for 90 minutes. I hope it is more of a 4213 than a 4231 - but lets see. I'm so excited.

Pirlo should sit back and dictate play while being protected by Vidal. Vucinic & DP can use their dribbling to work some magic in and close to the box while Krasic and Pepe stretch Milan's defense. I think it would create a lot of space for DP and Vucinic because their defensive midfielders would try to shut out Pirlo while the wingbacks would have to deal with Krasic and Pepe.
