I would go with the 4-3-3 as Ahmed suggested and rest one of the CB, play Isla as RW, Caceres as RB. De Ceglie as LB and Chiello, Bonnucci as CB.

Marrone/Pogba, Giac, Vidal/Asamoah in the MF.

Isla----Quag---Gio/Vucinic

I will go for

Buffon
Caceres-Barzagli-Chiellini
Isla-Vidal-Marrone-Asamoah-Giaccherini
Bedntner-Quag

Asamoah will be beside Marrone to provide muscle in the center and Giaccherini is more suited as a winger.
Time for Bonucci to take a break and Caceres to step in.
Both Vucinic and Giovinco are exhausted, so Quag can come in after being fresh from scoring against Chelsea and Bendtner may make his debut.

Hopefully Vidal is fit for this game.

So 4 games in the next 10 days. I hope we can raise up for the challenge. Some serious turnover will be needed in the next couple of matches.

caceras-marrone/bonucci-chiellini

isla-Pogba/marrone-de ceglie
Padion-----------Giach/marrone

Quag---Gio
Padoin is injured and Gio would be more useful as a LW in 4-3-3. He is too weak to play SS. He gets pushed around too easily. On the flank he has more space to work his magic.

Quagliarella to come in for Giovinco. The rest depends on who's tired.

Quag-Matri has never worked.
Because none of those two can't create. They need someone to provide them either Vucinic or Gio.
gio has to play until he gels with the team and finds his role

he won't gel if he is getting benched.
Gio needs to play but I have noticed that when he started going more wide last night it looked like he could do something. In the center he can't survive and he has poor first touch.

Buffon (C)
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Isla Vidal Pogba Marrone Asamoah
Quag Giovinco
I like that formation. I'd rest Vidal and start Marchisio, seeing as Vidal was really battling on/soldiering on with that niggling injury during the Chelsea tie.

No Padoin please; we should only use him if we are desperate and there are injuries piling up (or in meaningless games/matches when we are already leading 3-0 + Coppa ties).

In any case, we should steamroll those yellow faggots.

Buffon
Lucio - Bonucci - Chiellini
Isla - Vidal - Marrone - Asamoah - De Ceglie
Giovinco - Quagliarella

I would rest Vidal and Asamoah if we have taken the lead.

That's what I mean, I think he likes the ball at his feet more than Pirlo going foward and doesn't use long/lofted passes anywhere near as much as Pirlo.
You should've watch him more when he plays for France.
Well he and Pirlo is not exactly the same, its just they are similar except that Pogba is miles better in defending.

Giovinco did fine in the Serie A games anyway.

*update*
We don't play teams like Chelsea every week in Serie A. Some might say any week, maybe Napoli at a push.

If someone is to be rested from the start, it's Marchisio, but he never stops running so I don't know.

Agree with anyone saying that only one of MVP should be rested, if needed to.

You know with Marchisio that he'll run himself into a slump, he has done it in basically every season he has been established in the team. At least now we have viable alternatives.

I still see Marrone as his alternative, or putting Pogba in or Asamoah inside with De Ceglie LWB are options.

Personally I think this is a game where we will be tempted to rotate, we've got three tough games bunched together after this:

Sat 22/09/12 SEA Juventus 19 : 45 Chievo
Tue 25/09/12 SEA Fiorentina 19 : 45 Juventus
Sat 29/09/12 SEA Juventus 19 : 45 Roma
Tue 02/10/12 UCL Juventus 19 : 45 Shakhtar Donetsk

I'd expect to see Pogba or Marrone start this game.
