It was a poor tackle.

And while technically it could have done harm, I didn't think he went in with that much force. If it had been more forceful, it could well have been a red.

Defenders go through forwards like that relatively frequently.

Not nice, but not that serious.

And I'd also say that type of challenge isn't a potential leg-breaker. Challenges from that angle are more likely to fuck someones knee.

I'm getting a bit hazy on the details, but it looked awefully alot like the tackle that broke Eduardo's leg a few years ago. Ofc Rossi came in with less force than the maniac who fucked Eduardo up.

It wasn't like the Eduardo tackle at all.

Eduardo was running towards the defender and the defender met him head on.

The defender was coming from sort of diagonally behind Matri.

I don't recall huge force being involvd in the Eduardo leg break. It was a poor foul, but it was just unfortunate that it caused serious injury. Much worse tackles than the one on Eduardo happen all the time.

Man we are getting screwed with not getting FKs and corners this season. Anyone noticed it?

I commented about our lack of bite in set piece situations this season. We need to take more advantage of these to notch up some easy goals.
