Yup....fight for 4th place it is. There is literally nothing that can happen that can make us a better team. Aside from Pogba, Di Maria and Chiesa all returning and staying 100% fit throughout the whole season but even if that happens it moght be too late for anyhting...

What a disappointment. That should've been three points.

Miretti starting was a huge positive. I wonder if the Danilo move was a tactical choice just for this match, or a more permanent switch with Bonucci.

What a shit result. Felt inevitable after we failed to score a second before half time. For all the territorial domination, we created little in terms of chances. Their only threat was set pieces, so that was no surprise either.

Great first half terrible second. Our team is weak.. we gonna lose a lot of points in a similar fashion throughout the season. It is what is iss.. We basically have no wings, kostic is good for a second left back nothing more.. Cuadrado is washed and actually does more damage than good in his games. Vlaho alone isolated.
Miretti played a great game, I’m looking forward to see him every week. The other midfielders were solid in the first half and lost in the second.
The defensive line is ok if your team is Udinese or Torino. Allegri with bad decisions during the game it’s unbeliavable how we didn’t win this game knowing Roma was clueless the whole game.
Rovella should play before Mckennie and Zakaria ALWAYS. And if they loan him they will be making the same mistakes as in previous seasons which means we gonna struggle a lot this season.

I like how we played, pressed pretty much the whole game. di maria (and Chiesa) would’ve made a huge difference. If they keep playing like that they’ll be pretty good. Makes me wonder why they’re not in the market for wings? Kostic is a wingback/mid. Same with Cuadrado at this stage of his career. Soule ain’t it.

Too bad, really disappointing draw. Have to finish these kind of games.

Irrati is a piece of shit son of a bitch. Last season too he fucked us a few times. Cristante kicks the ball into DV's hand - no goal, handball. Smalling deflects the ball into his hand twice - no penalty. Ibanez pulls Vlahović down in the box - no penalty. Milik walks in front of Zalewski - somehow an offensive foul.

Pretty much all of them played well, but Kostić and Cuadrado were really disappointing. Too little variety in attack with them. Great ball progression, movement between the lines, easily get them the ball in 1-1 situation and all either of them does is jump around the ball 5 times before a cross. No attack 1-1. Chiesa would have had 3 goals and 3 assists tonight with all the space and opportunities.

Milik nice cameo, moved really well between the lines.

Too much pressure already because of the draw vs Samp. Have to beat Spezia at home now and Viola away.

Hopefully Pogba, Chiesa and Di Maria come back soon. Three best players in the team and also with two wingers out no alternatives on the bench when Cuadrado and Kostić have a stinker

Not a bad performance at all even though its annoying we didnt pick the 3pts.
The good thing is - add Pogba Di Maria and Chiesa and this game could have ended way before they equalized.

we still suck, got even worse and will do worse than last year.
Already saying cozy at mid table , we feel comfortable here, like its our natural place.
The team will try to bounce back after Pogbs return and before his inevitable injury that will ruin this season, but the Var team will be there and push us back exactly as much as it is needed , so that we drop the points, our momentum and phychology,
exactly as it has happened last year and in the past two games.
And our owners just dont care, they were expecting this, they knew...

I’d rather play a completely drained Cuadrado as RW when chasing the game than see Weston there. Surely even Soule couldn’t be worse there than seeing Wes trying to take someone one on one. We’re not buying anyone and Cuadrado isn’t going to last a whole season.

This is probably as good as we've played in a while in terms of controlling the game (the first 60 mins or so), maybe the bar is excruciatingly low, however we failed to turn that into more clear cut chances. Miretti was great but it's also clear that he needs to build his fitness to last a full 90. I've had enough of Tek and him not coming out for set pieces near him, it's a killer. I thought the midfield finally had some balance with the three that started. We did at around thar 60 mark though start falling too deep which is something we are very used to seeing and just invited the pressure. We needed that second goal and if we got it I think we win that game comfortably.

Milik looked decent in his cameo

The subs weren't great but also if Miretti and Cuadrado were spent I'm not sure who else he could've brought on. The Rabiot injury hurt us (as much as it pains me to say this) as that midfield was working well. Would've been great to have Fagioli off the bench for this one as I think his added creativity would've helped.

Forgot about Soule, I probably would've gambled with him and not a dead Juan as we know he can do some incredibly dumb shit.

I thoroughly watched the first half but didn’t pay as much attention to the second. I was not expecting this end result. I was positive this was going to be an easy 3-0 win. Roma were no match in the first half. It’s a shame that we didn’t score more goals. The one silver lining though is Miretti. What a pleasant surprise that was. Other than that there are no excuses for throwing the 3 points away. I’m disappointed with the subs; unfortunately we lack depth and quality on the bench.
I look forward to seeing a midfield of Pogba, Loca and Paredes. I think Max is onto something but he needs to let go of the pussy mentality of sitting back and deep whenever we have the lead. There’s no such thing as a healthy draw or loss. This team needs to be programmed to play to win every game. That’s the only way we can challenge for the scudetto and put up a fight against the top tier sides in the CL.
