Buffon MOM? He almost gave away that goal to Di Natale where he flapped at the cross needlessly. Made up for it with the save but still, shouldn't have been an opportunity in the first place. He has a knack for saving balls back into an oncoming striker's path.

without the triple/quadruple saves, and most of them would certainly end up as udinese goals, game would've turned out very differently. the man single handedly kept our hopes alive

I guess you could remove DC or Padoin if you can donate few millions to the club. Then we can use it to sign better player. Not sure if it will be enough for just the transfer fee alone.

well he wasted two glorious chances though... we can (rightfully) praise buffon all we want but di natale really should have scored at least once.
imo barzagli was the best player on the pitch.

when did he make quadruple saves? He did a double save where he himself got into trouble for mindlessly punching a random ball straight to di natale.

not consecutively. there was the one where he was outstretched and tipped the ball from di natale's chip which I was sure was going to go in - cannot recall if he made other saves. either way, that double and the chip were crucial. it would've gone in without him.
