Well we got the 3 points and that's all that matters at the end of the season. Shame we're not really playing with any fluidity at the moment, our play looks disjointed and that's where we'll suffer against the bigger teams, thankfully today we ran into a Fiorentina that is one of the poorest in years....
Mandzu was good in the second half, Cuadrado had a very good game and bentancur showed some promising play. Rugani and Barzagli were solid.
Dybala had 0 influence on the game, sturaro was average but caught out of position multiple times, Asamoah.... no need to comment we know his level. But the worst, Higuain - I have never seen such a poor performance from a CF since the Amauri days. His touch constantly lets him down and he's over playing, he's also not getting himself into dangerous position and is dropping far too deep. higuain is not a footballer, he's an instinctive finisher and he needs to get back to one/two touch football with minimal time to think. When he has time to think he is a sham

We never seemed interested in going up a gear and even with a weak opponent at our home ground, we could have done better had our forward line been complete. Higuain fucked up a lot of our play were it for hasty passing, bad positioning or losing possession so randomly. Dybala suffered a lot in the first half from Higuain's mistakes that he looked he is getting worked out. I think he left the field in disappointment out of the entire attacking game rather than because he was subbed early.
Cuadrado was amazing with his early crosses and overall game. Mandzukic a beast and a great taken goal. Sturaro and Asamoah did well but it still remains that Bentancur was our best performer tonight.

Cuadrado was amazing with his early crosses and overall game. Mandzukic a beast and a great taken goal. Sturaro and Asamoah did well but it still remains that Bentancur was our best performer tonight.

Great to collect 3 points in what was a dangerous game, the squad players did excellent. I think Mandzukic looked very tired towards the end so maybe we should give him a breather with Costa playing on the weekend? Matuidi and Bentancur give our midfield great depth and quality that we never had last season with Rincon and Lemina as backups. Rugani and Barzagli looked good together
