Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara does not fear getting the sack following tonight's defeat to Milan.

The Bianconeri were thumped at home by the Rossoneri tonight 3-0, and Ferrara's position has come under intense scrutiny.

Many people believe that Ferrara may have coached his last game in Turin, with Guus Hiddink possibly replacing him, but the Italian does not fear losing his job.

“This is a very difficult moment," Ferrara told Sky Sport Italia.

"We didn’t start too badly but we seem to be punished with very opportunity. Milan scored with their first chance.

“However, I don’t feel in danger of losing my job, I am very concentrated.

"I am trying to put my energy into the team. It is not my decision to make if they sack me or not, and if I am sacked I will accept it.

I know Melo should take the blame, but Grygera completely gave up before the ball even reached the Brazilian.

listen mate ... you can not blame others for melos fault ... sometimes you have to be able to confide in your teammates ...

lets change the situation a bit ... lets say melo was our last defender and grygera was about 10 meters besides him ... when milan play a weak pass to their attack that can easily be gathered up by melo ... would you want grygera to run just behind melo just for the case he slips and lets the ball run through on goal ?

its clear that you have to be able to rely on your teammates to not fuck up on such simple things ... in the situation i just presented it would have been more sensible for grygera to already make a run to make himself available for an easy pass, when melo gathers the ball. thats exactly what is not happening ... the players are two steps back in their mind ... no one sees "hey, my mate will get this ball. i will make a run NOW to be available for a pass, when my mate has the ball" ... no its more like "hrm, interessting .. what will my teammate do ... will he gather it ... will he do a 'melo' ... i will wait and watch exactly what he does but wont move one centimeter"

because if you follow your string of argumentation, than you should blame manninger for not seeing that de ceglie is a retard that will guide the ball into his own net instead of blasting it away...

Frankly, this discussion is painfully redundant. The guy is gone now and even if he was still around, what were we going to do, rely on him forever? If he stayed on this season and if we would have a poor run of form next season with our supposed wingers, would we then ask the same question in the following year? How about in another decade?

Frankly, this discussion is painfully redundant. The guy is gone now and even if he was still around, what were we going to do, rely on him forever? If he stayed on this season and if we would have a poor run of form next season with our supposed wingers, would we then ask the same question in the following year? How about in another decade?

We needed to move on from Nedved for the future of the world. All good things must end.

The sad thing is that we warent supposed to even need a winger, We were going for a new formation, where is it now?

Ciro couldn't implante it. He failed right there.
Anything he did since then is patch-work and a hope to grinde some good results by luck.

I didn't want us to rely on him. But he'd be a very good squad player, don't you think? I had a belief last season that Pavel has the legs to carry on for one more season. Of course, I can't prove that he'll perform well, but I don't really think Pavel would be worse than Brazzo, PDC.

In fact, it was more of a "In your face" post targeted at those people who attacked me at the end of last season for voicing my opinion.

And here i took out the league table of teams who are/or potentially could be in our neck. For instance, Roma clash in 2 weeks time, could be 3-4-5th place decider. And Milan, Fiorentina, Bari, Cagliari and Genoa still have one less game played than us!

i'm sorry he had to witness that fiasco on the field..the crowd wanted him because they and we all thought that he could bring something extra, but the thing is it resulted in the opposite way. Del Piero can't save a team by himself...not anymore ...the team didn't had passion (except the first 5 minutes in the 2nd half) didn't keeped up the rythm in the attach, there were no ideeas, just like all the games in this season..i missed camo and gio.

I think we can all agree that Ciro has to go, his sympathy speech over there doesn't make me feel anything other than disgust. He has too much pride to resign his spot, he has led Juventus no where.

We are now tied to Napoli in points. Roma is just behind by a point. If the board has any sense they should get rid of him now, before things get really bad and we head down to 5-6th place.

If we keep Ciro, I honestly don't think we'll make next years Champions League. I think we'll end 5th.

No, but I don't want him to just give up on it presuming it will all be ok and stop moving all together. But the difference between this example and the real one, is that Grygera was marking a man in reality, in the penalty area, for a corner. That's ten times more dangerous as a defender.

In that situation it probably would be more sensible to move out to space, but not when you are marking someone for a corner when there are more opposition players in the penalty are than any other time of the match. Add onto that there was no way that Melo would have been able to start an attack from his position, and the best he could do was clear it.

I'm not pinning the blame on Grygera at all either, it was completely awful of Melo to pull off that stunt. Defenders shouldn't give up their duty for corners.
