F*ckin' Lippi had to call up every f*ckin' Italian player in Juve's roster. Camo just came back from injury and he calls him up.

Let's hope none of them play vs Greece. :xfinger:

When you said 'every' I thought you meant Molinaro and Marcionni. :bigscarf:
    Biased thoughts probably.

Andy, your signature doesn't sound funny anymore because currently we really don't need to change anything.
    Did we actually change something?

I disagree.I support the team that I like their football style the most.
Oh, so it's like a day to day thing? "Well today I like Italy because I'm on the defensive against this poster, but yesterday I felt like attacking people all over the place so I liked Holland. Perhaps tomorrow I'll feel a little snobby and like the French, but we'll see."

I'm Greek, but nothing connects me with the Greek NT.
Yes, there is something that connects you with the Greek NT... IT'S YOUR NATIONALITY!

I don't even watch the domestic championship. It's completely shitty.
All the players of this team are crap, and of course overrated here.
Okay, so you're a gloryhunter then. At least admit that.

    Why to support them?
Because it doesn't make sense to support somebody other than your own country. I'm not going to go too far into this, but the international game revolves around... yes... you guessed it... nationality. Just like the players are required to be nationalized before playing for a particular country, the fans should have at least some connection to the country, and that means is through citizenship.

It's the only way it makes sense.

I enjoy watching many National Teams. I like the style of the Dutch and Spanish. The thrill of watching teams like Russia and Croatia beat teams "better" than them. I enjoy the passion and flair of the South American teams. The power of Germany, etc. But there is only one team I give a shit about above all others. And that's the United States.

As far as NTs go, it's ok to like more than one. They all offer different things and the majority of them play good football. But the reality of the situation is that everyone has a favorite. A team that matched up against any other team in the world you cheer for. For me, it is the US. I'm sure for some of you it is Italy or your home country.

For example, in the Euros I rooted for Spain and Holland because I enjoy their style. But when the US played Spain in a friendly I cheered the US on as if the Spanish were the second coming of Hitler.

It's okay to like watching different teams play, that's certainly fine. I love watching Holland play. But then when one claims they support different sides that's when it gets a little screwed up.

Seriously, if I rooted for Italy over the USA in the last World Cup, somebody should burn me at the stake. It's unacceptable and doesn't make any sense.

What about the international army of mercenaries? Are they being spread around the globe for matches?

Well I happen to be a Chinkass Chink and I don't support China anymore. I did support my Chinese NT at the 2002 World Cup, but then our government got the bright idea to start poisoning milk and baby formula. Now I support Somalia.
