What i know for sure now is that Cabal need to always start, either on the left or even in central defense, he reads the game quite well and has a good pass with speed to support. Cambiaso should play further up, either in midfield or as a wingback, he is too adventurous to be at the back 4.
Danilo is done, reckless, slow, doesnt even offer any danger in offensive set pieces anymore. Fagioli should never ever start if Thuram is healthy, Loca Thuram Mckennie in the middle would have been so much better and could probably have stopped that Miki goal from happening.
Chico is one hell of a winger, he has it all to make it to the highest level, if there were better attacking support from mids, he could wreak more havoc all day.
Next game we need to start Gatti Kalulu Cabal Savona back 4

1. I was entertained, first time I actually believed that we could get a result even when going down
2. We showed a lot of heart and desire, especially against Inter at their home
3. Individual errors cost us but I'm excited for when Bremer, Koopmeiners, and Pogba (?) return because we could be a beastly team
4. Motta gets big respect for changing our mentality and getting a big reaction from the CL loss

Sure there was some comical defending and a number of errors, but after 3 years of truly miserable football and nothing but calma, I’m happy to see desire and hunger from the manager and players with a clear gameplan in possession of the ball. Motta punches the likes of Gatti and Thuram and firing them up before they came on may seem like a small thing but it’s a far cry from what we’ve had since Conte.

There will be a ceiling with the backline we have sans Bremer, on what we can achieve this season, but at least we are on an upward trajectory and have something to try and continually build on.
