inter are a bunch of fucking jokers. if only their excuses put trophies in the cabinet :disagree:

o well there goes inter's plan of an extention to their already dusty trophy room :p . maybe they will need an extention in the document storage room with all their pathetic accusations.

ahhhh victory was sweet, i just hope a interista watched the match on a slow and lagging stream, nothing could be worse than to watch inter lose on a lagging stream :pumpkin:

Capello: Juve deserved it Sunday 12 February, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fabio Capello and his men insist Inter can have no complaints about the 2-1 victory, even if they claim the Scudetto race is not over.

“We played well, were constantly dangerous and were always in the thick of the play. I doubt anyone can question that Juventus deserved the win. This game was open to any result, as these are quality sides who can turn a match at any moment. You can’t come to San Siro and defend, as sooner or later you will concede,” said the Juventus Coach.

The Nerazzurri thought they had taken the lead just before the break, but Adriano’s goal was disallowed because he scored straight from an indirect free kick.

“The referee clearly had his arm raised, so it was obviously an indirect free kick. We are taught this when we start football training in school,” noted Capello.

Alessandro Del Piero came off the bench again to make his mark with a potentially title-winning goal.

“I have the fortune to have players who accept my decisions because they know they are working for the good of the team.”

Juventus were without Gianluca Zambrotta and Jonathan Zebina, so Capello chose Federico Balzaretti and Giorgio Chiellini for this high-profile tie.

“I was still undecided on who to play at full-back this morning, but these two Italian youngsters – and I’d like to reiterate that they are home-grown – have character and can be the future of the Azzurri squad.”

The Bianconeri are now 12 points clear at the top of the table, but the former Real Madrid boss insists it’s not all over.

“We have a big advantage and earned that on the pitch, but if you look at what Roma are doing with nine consecutive wins, then anything is possible in this sport and we cannot celebrate until it’s mathematically certain.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring by side-footing home Mauro Camoranesi’s cross before limping off with an injury.

“The title race is not over,” insisted the Swede. “Inter’s comeback is not impossible, even though we know we have won a very important match. I feel physically better now and am happy that my goal made a difference.”
