Here is the news from the Juventus site.

Another step towards the Ferraris
Preparation continues at full pace in view of Sunday night's League fixture against Genoa. The team carried out their fourth training session of the week at the Juventus Center this morning. Claudio Ranieri had an almost complete squad at his disposal. Players missing included Molinaro (who has a fever and a sore throat, his condition will be evaluated again tomorrow) and Zebina (who only worked lightly in the gym). Those sure to miss the Genoa game are Nedved, who's suspended, and injured players Andrade and Marchionni; the latter is continuing his personal programme under the supervision of fitness coach Scanavino.

There's only one training session left before the trip to the Liguria region, and it’s scheduled on the eve of the match, on Saturday morning. At the end of the session (at 1 pm), Ranieri will meet the journalists in the traditional press conference, shown live on Juventus Channel.

Meanwhile in Genoa the match is eagerly awaited by the locals, so much so that tickets are selling like hot cakes, as mentioned on the Club's official website. Last year, in Serie B, the game in Genoa ended 1-1 (with Nedved and Juric scoring and Buffon saving an Adailton penalty), whereas it's been as many as 13 years since the two teams last met in Serie A at the Ferraris Stadium. 1995, to be precise, the year when the Bianconeri won the first Scudetto of the Lippi era and Genoa were relegated.

News from the Genoa camp, divulged by the Ansa Agency, tell of the team having to do without a few players. Apart from Juric, who's suspended, goalkeeper Rubinho, Bovo and former Juve player Paro (who didn't play in Turin either) will all sit out the match. Whereas Manager Gasperini – who both played and coached at Juventus - should be able to recover his best man, Marco Borriello, who's doing so well and is fighting with David Trezeguet for the League's top scorer award.

But he missed 2 or 3 of them I think :shifty:

But as was said before, he isnt getting any decent service, so I cant really blame him!
He's not getting the service for sure, but is it because our wingers or full backs are out of form ?
Maybe the problem lies somewhere else ?
Maybe the other teams realised how we play (since we use the same tactics all the time) and they found a way how to stop us.

Perhaps, instead of waiting for our players to find their old form, we should change our game plan.

How about this

------Trezeguet-Del Piero

---Tiago--Zanetti--Camo

-----------Sissoko

Chiellini-Stendardo-Legro-Zebina

------------Buffon

We must change formation since it`s stupid to play Palla as winger and to play Sali as RB.

Tiago should play and add some creativity in middle. He should work well there with Zanetti and we`d have Sissoko behind.

here's a question:

If Stendardo is not good enough to get into Lazio's 1st eleven, what makes him good enough for us? why play a player who is can't cut it in a smaller team?

Actually he IS good enough for Lazio's first eleven and with the players we have probably for ours as well ATM. The problem he had was with Lazio's coach which led to him being frozen out of the club...maybe not too different from Ranieri and Tiago (because i doubt he;s being frozen out because of lack of ability)

Tiago did not bring anything creative in his 11 games, except for some creativity using his big mouth .
