It's just a theory and it could be very far from the truth. But it's something to think about.

This isn't something new. Back in Moggi time half of Siena players were on loan from Juve and we know how easily we won the matches vs Siena. There were talks that Juve and Milan have half of the small teams in serie A.
To some of them we loaned players, to some we gave our help to sign a certain player, some we saved from relegation by handing them a win in the last rounds etc etc etc.
Just take a look at Milan and Reggina. In 2003/04 Milan already won the scudetto and two rounds before the end they let Reggina beat them. With that win Reggina saved themselves from relegation. After that, in 2004/05 and 2005/06 Milan-Reggina was the most boring match where Milan were scoring an early goal or two and the match ended that way.
Last year Milan again won in January and in the very last round, Reggina has beaten Milan and saved themselves from relegation by 1 single point advantage over Chievo.
What happened this year in Reggio was a 0:1 win by Milan where Reggina literally didn't pass the midfield.
Now compare this with how Reggina plays against us.

This year again we easily beat the teams where we have players on loan (Livorno, Empoli, Siena, Genoa). Milan suffer against every single team but they've beaten Genoa twice, very easy (they have Borriello on loan there), they've beaten Cagliari (Matri is there) and Sampdoria (Sammarco).
But what's the most dubious thing about Milan was their match against Empoli at the San Siro.
Milan have 4 or 5 loaned players to Empoli and everyone in the betting world was betting on Milan on that match. The odds on Empoli were huge but only the bookmaker Bwin, Milan's sponsor, had high odds on Milan and lower odds than the other bookies on Empoli. There were millions and millions placed in Bwin on Milan win on that match and the surprise of the season happened when Empoli have beaten Milan at San Siro.

I may be very far from the truth, but it's hard not to be suspicious.
I wouldn't be surprised at all. after calciopoli, and all the things going on, nothing can surprise me anymore. after all; we're speaking of italy here....... (i'm italian, so i'm not being racist or sth. But everyone knowing italy and italian politics knows what i'm talking about)

Di Vaio plots Juve revenge
Thursday 6 March, 2008

Genoa striker Marco Di Vaio is ready to welcome his old club Juventus to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris this Sunday.

The 31-year-old hitman is having enjoying playing alongside Serie A top scorer Marco Borriello at Marassi this season.

The Roman has netted eight times in 16 matches, averaging a goal every other game, and isn't scared of the Old Lady.

Juventus have lost two of their last three fixtures and risk missing out on a Champions League spot if their form doesn't improve.

“I won't settle for a draw because, as long as we have two feet, I believe we can resolve the match,” insisted Di Vaio.

“We always try our best, whatever the opponents. Certain situations will be crucial, the result will depend on the flow of the game,” explained the journeyman striker.

The former Bianconeri man, who has played for nine different clubs in his career, isn't taking anything for granted though.

“Juventus are famous for their winning spirit, they will arrive in Genoa determined,” he added.

“They will be intent on breaking and interrupting their negative run. Juve will do everything to leave the field with three points.”

Claudio Ranieri's side beat the Grifoni 1-0 when they travelled to Turin in October thanks to a strike from Alessandro Del Piero.

I don't know if someone already mentioned it, but do you guys think a good old Italian deal is already done and we'll easily get the 3 points ?

In Empoli we have Giovinco, Marchisio, Piccolo, Volpato and we got an incredibily easy 3:0 win where Empoli didn't even try to pass our midfield (just compare this with Milan-Empoli 0:1, Empoli-Roma 2:2 and even Inter-Empoli 1:0 where Empoli missed a penalty at the end and were very dangerous throughout the match)

Against Siena we got another very easy win and there we have De Ceglie, Bettega, Rossi. ( Siena has beaten Roma 3:0, drew with Milan 1:1 and made a lot of problems to Inter in their 2:3 defeat where the ref helped Inter)

So i was wondering if Genoa will be a similar case since we let them have Paro and Criscito ? Genoa don't need any points at all. They are safe from relegation and they have slim chances of winning a UEFA Cup spot.

Ok, Napoli beats my theory but God knows what plans we have with some of their starlets (Hamsik, Lavezzi, Gargano).
Hopefully Morratti hasn't read this post, he'd be all cranky like a little kid that lost his candy. Great job by the way.

What if we lose? Do you guys think the board will fire the coach? Genoa at home is a tough nut to crack. I am not optimistic and say a draw or a defeat. :(
HEHEHE, nop... they are saying that RUINERI is rock solid to stay @ Juve...the board are just stupid and up MERDAtti's ASS... period!

Zebina will lose his mind and get carded, Palladino will get a yellow for a dive, Legro will get a yellow for handling the ball while jumping like a clown, Camoranesi will a card for kicking someone in the back.

Nocerino always gets booked anyway.

But he missed 2 or 3 of them I think :shifty:

But as was said before, he isnt getting any decent service, so I cant really blame him!
therein lies the problem we have aboslutely no creativity at teh moment, well apart from camo. i hate to see neddy so diminished in powers but he needs help down the left side as his legs just cant last as long nowadays and he is still doing the work of 2 men

Maybe for some matches but you can`t blame service always.Sometimes he was out of luck but sometimes even out-of-form.

At the start of the season Molinaro did play with those poor crosses but anyway he scored 16 goals.

But he will shine against Genoa. :juvefan2:

I blame Molinaro. He somehow always has the ball.
That's the problem in this Forum, that Molinaro gets blamed for everything. He didn't look any more exposed last Sunday than Legro/Grygera and plus he did create Camo's goal. But like any other day of course, he was made a scapegoat for the loss apart from Ranieri.

Trezeguet is in a period of bad form, I think that should be obvious by now. Part of the blame goes on him too, albeit it is a small part. I still love him though and always will. But he needs to start playing and score, otherwise Iaquinta/Palladino should be selected ahead of him.

Both of them dont posses the lethality David has.

They don't for sure, but they could be more useful in our matches if they are in better form. Especially Iaquinta, who scored quite a lot for his playing time.

Konko isnt ours anymore, not even a co-ownership or anything.. I havent watched him too many times this season but judging from a couple articles i've read he is playing really well and has even made it into the glorious goal.com serie A team of the week a couple of times..
