This is actually a game I see there being a chance of Juve losing.

Players are never at their best coming off international breaks and when you add in the game against Chelsea in midweek, there is a distinct danger of Juve not being as focused on this game as they ought to be.

4-3-3 is also a system that 3-5-2 is not well suited to playing against.

You tend to either end up playing three versus three at the back, or the wingbacks get dragged back to help ought and the 3-5-2 team struggles for width high up the pitch.

Not an insurmountable problem, but not easy to get the balance right between defensive solidity and still playing your own attacking game.

Could Giaccherini be preferred at LWB over De Ceglie because that would allow the team to change to 4-3-3 very easily, in case there are issues playing 3-5-2 against 4-3-3?

Have you guys commented about some Genoa fans protesting outside the stadium and not going to watch the game because Conte is suspended but can train the club during the week and they think that's not fair?

:sergio:

I should remind them that Preziosi is their President and they have Giuseppe Sculli as a player.

Probably not.

I could look through heaps of Juve fixtures this season and really struggle to think how Juve could contrive to lose.

This isn't one of those, though.
if they match up with a 3 man midfield against us they will get absolutely murdered, no way it can control the game and actually beat us.

We're going to smash them. And fuck the fans that are protesting, go suck a dick if you have nothing better to do.

From GdS' prediction, Barzagli, Asamoah and Giovinco are being rested.

Hopefully Pogba/Marrone, Bendtner and De Ceglie come on to rest the others.

The problem is more Juve being vulnerable to counter-attacks if it ends up basically being Juve's three CBs against Genoa's three forwards.

I am so happy that teams feel inferior to us once again. :touched:
