Some weird posts. Some people ignore a couple of things

- this has nothing to do with goal being onside/offside
- it doesn't matter we lost, it just happens

What does matter is that we're playing BAD and it's not just this game today, it's been happening for a while now. It's rather surprising it took us this long to lose, even in this weak Serie A.

Utter garbage performance. Do we really need 5 defenders against a side like this? Baffles the brain. Get some creative energy in there please. We make poor Tevez do everything.

My formation:

the great one

defenders who stay defending and not messing up the attack

whoever wants to not suck

tevez

We've got 3 centre backs,
2 of them mark one player (and fail to win the ball)
And the other one is 15 yards up the pitch leaving their FULL BACK unmarked on the edge of our 6 yard box. Offside or not offside (we're not Roma we don't winge about debatable calls) we've engineered our own downfall here

Exactly! This is how we play. And the moves from Allegri are a striker for a striker, and a midfielder for a midfielder!
Where's Coman? Isn't he a player that mainly contribute to a victory when struggling to score a goal.. A GOAL. We should win by a margin anyway!!
Our inability to differentiate between defenders and attackers is such a simple mistake, you'd be forgiven as a random fan for coming on here and wondering wtf we're talking about.

But the fact is, at Juventus we seemingly do not understand that defenders aren't cut out to pull off attacks

An at the time full back in his late 20's is not supposed to be converted into a fucking winger, our LCB and RCB aren't going to pull off incisive through balls or make successful darting runs up the fucking pitch all of the time.

Seriously, give us a pair of HALF DECENT, speedy wide players and we'd look like a different team entirely. Purely because a journeyman winger is more effective than a god damn CB of RB 30 yards from goal with a man closing him down.

I'm delighted with the loss. This team didn't deserve to lose, but we didn't deserve to win neither. We play $#@!ing horribly and our coach is a pussy and has no balls. We were playing 9 defensive players against this $#@!ty opponent. We simply have no idea what to do with the ball in the final third. We can't even connect a few passes together. There's just no structure. No game plan. No ideas. It's pretty horrible. I can't understand how the $#@! did we win 7 games playing like this.

And the worst thing is that people blame our mentality for choking in Europe. It has absolutely nothing to do with that. We always play that way. At least a lot of times. In Serie A it doesn't show much because we somehow manage to grab the win because of the $#@!ty useless opponents. In Europe, against top opposition, we get exposed.

We won't win anything this season playing like this and with Roma unstoppable.
100% agree.

We played bad, but it's ridiculous to say Genoa deserved to win. We hit the post twice and Perin pulled a once-in-a-month save. They had one shot.

We will hear more excuses from Allegri and the players after the game about how they played well, how we deserved the win, we dominated bla bla. Expect no formation change or any change in tactics in the future.
