I apologize in advance if anyone else has already brought this up, but according to the statistics, today we had only 1 shot on targer - Pirlo's goal. Unlucky Genoa, maybe next time.

Those stats are funny if true. And we didn't deserve the points either. Got lucky, but I think this bodes well for next week's game against Fiorentina.

I dont remember if it was last season or that before when we draw them ath home 1-1.Before 2 minutes till the end the referee did not whistle a single arm penalty for us.This is a history of bad refereeing with Genoa.

We didn't deserve the points? They had no clear chances, besides the penalty, which was immediately after a clear handball in their box where the player also had his arm well out from his side. We scored a perfectly legit goal that was ruled out for offside. We certainly deserved the victory. We played very mediocre, but we certainly deserved to win as we legitimately found the back of the net twice and they only had one good chance to score.
Fact is, without him we would not have won this game. I quess it's more difficult to earn a freekick at that stage of the game than Pirlo to score it. :testtesttest:

Absolutely not. They pressed us hard, outran us, and dominated the middle of the park. We were more clinical, and that is bound to show for the obvious disparity in quality across the two sides. But don't forget they had a penalty saved and Bertolacci hit the best chance of the first half straight at Buffon. It's not like they didn't have their moments. The only difference is, that we took ours and that is the sign of a champion team, but if you look at the run of play, there was only one team that deserved the points tonight. And that wasn't us.
